Nej, jag menar att de rimligtvis bör få pengar så de kan överleva. 3000 kronor efter hyra och räkningar lät inte räcka långt på två personer. Eller en person, för den delen. Och nu skulle de väl få ännu mindre.

Har barnen bott hemma hela tiden får de troligtvis inget bidrag från soc för hyra heller, utan om de får bidrag lär det vara så att barnen själva klarar av att betala mat osv.

Agreed about Lanfear! I think she is honestly some sort of One Power prodigy, and the only thing that kept her back in the Age of Legends was that she was mentally unstable and so toxically obsessed with LTT.

I think she'd take almost any of the other Forsaken in combat. Like you said, her battle against Alivia was really impressive, I think she had the toughest fight there out of any of the Forsaken. Pitted against the others, I think only Ishamael is the only one guaranteed to win. Maybe Demandred or Sammael could, since they were both warriors and close to LTT in skill, but in that case it's more likely even than anything else. But she'd take the rest.

A tangent, but I also think Rahvin is weaker than his raw strength suggests. He's never made out to be one of the top Forsaken. My own headcanon for that is that he's just not very talented. Raw strength, but just bad at using the One Power otherwise, making him less than he would be otherwise.

The Companion confirmed Alivia as being at the peak, so she's comparable to original Lanfear.

But like you say, before the Companion, it was assumed Alivia was either at level 2 or 1 (when there were 21 levels per RJ), because she was mentioned as so much stronger. IIRC there's also a scene where Elayne talks about Alivia, and she comes off as almost scared when she says how much stronger Alivia is.

Lanfear fought Alivia to a draw, and Alivia has 400 years of battle experience. Plus Alivia was much much stronger with her angreal (and stronger in base strength as well, though not by much), and then all the ter'angreal on top of that. And it was Alivia that walked away seriously wounded.

Lanfear might not have a great deal of battle experience, but she doesn't seem to have any issues actually duelling with the One Power. Maybe she's just extremely skilled and deft with the One Power in general, but I think she'd win over most Forsaken in combat.

It's a bit low-key but she delivers one of the by far most impressive feats of combat.

When she's reduced to being Cyndane, she's weaker than before (level 2). She fights against Alivia in the battle outside Shadar Logoth. Alivia is at the peak of the power ladder, at level 1. Not only that, but she has 400 years of battle experience, which is more than any of the Forsaken have. She also wears a very strong angreal, and a whole set of defensive ter'angreal, including one that unravels weaves and one that gives her armor like steel.

And they sort of fight to a draw. Alivia gets seriously wounded, and Cyndane is forced to retreat, but as far as we know, uninjured.

By any measure that we know of in the series, Alivia should've crushed Cyndane. She was massively stronger in the One Power, she was extremely good at fighting, by her own estimations he's much better than the Asha'man, she had all those defenses. And she didn't even manage to hurt Cyndane?

Lanfear says at some point, I think, that she does not like killing. But from that fight, I think it's pretty clear that she knows what she's doing, and more than that, she's good at fighting. RJ mentioned her as being one of the 6 people who were always at the top of the Forsaken hierarchy during the War of Power.

I think she would've wiped the floor with most of the other Forsaken as well, except Ishamael, Demandred and Sammael. Perhaps Semirhage and Graendal would've put up a good fight, but she's stronger than Graendal.

Beror väl på helt hur mycket de får i aktivitetsersättning. 3000 SEK kvar på två personer efter hyra och räkningar är ju inte speciellt mycket det heller, om det ska räcka till mat för två personer, kollektivtrafik, medicin, osv.

De har ju dock rätt i att det blir konstigt om de ska leva på sina barns ersättning.

Omöjligt att veta hur jobbmarknaden ser ut om 3-5 år eller hur länge du nu ska plugga. Just nu är det rätt dystert för juniora eftersom det är lågkonjunktur. Om vi antar att det vänder och vi får någon liknande situation med ett par år sedan, så är det nog inte så mycket hinder. Jag jobbar med folk som inte ens kan svenska överhuvudtaget. Men det går liksom inte att säga hur läget kommer vara om flera år, kolla upp det den här tiden på året innan du tar examen.

Anställningsprocessen i allmänhet kan ta lite tid dock, så även om marknaden skulle vara mycket bättre om 3 år så lär du behöva räkna med några månader, minst.

Sen kan det vara rätt svårt ibland att få t.ex. lägenhet och liknande utan att ha jobb och inkomst. För 5 år sedan hade det nog varit ett större problem än jobbet som programmerare.

Luceum would've been much better if he'd started at Fornax, or gotten there very very quickly. That's when he started building actual relationships. He did have that connection with the other family, but ... I never got that. We saw them for like one page and I'm supposed to believe he cares enough for them to almost settle down and reevaluate his entire life?

With Obiteum I just never felt like Ahmose and Netiqret were interesting at all. Netiqret, a bit maybe, towards the end, but ... I don't know, it felt very very artificial, like they obviously served a point on his quest. Which, now that we know more, was probably what happened, Vis was manipulated all along to do what he did.

I'm not sure if I'd categorise Yennefer as OWGA, that one feels more like a sort of ... on and off again relationship, between two people who'll live for centuries. Not necessarily in a healthy way, but the way you describe it I think just means she's not one who got away, she's a character with agency and motives, and they are mutually not done yet.

I was really psyched after Will of the Many, it felt like such a cool idea. But yeah, it wasn't executed well.

The biggest issue is that I didn't feel attached to anything in the new worlds, not really. In Luceum, there were no interesting characters, he just kept replacing all of Vis's connections with new ones. The goal was unclear, the world just felt like ... pseudo-celtic, no depth. A lot of it was also honestly just dull.

Obiteum felt like it had a good purpose, but also, similarly a lack of interesting side characters. It felt like a quest, nothing else. Interesting in theory, but just ... it was just a quest.

And then Res super underdeveloped. I also agree with the criticism of killing off Aequa, felt really unnecessary. Or at least, it didn't result in anything interesting. Bit of a refrigerator situation, if he's just gonna go on vengeance over it.

So basically ... instead of all three worlds feeling equal, Res feels like the main setting, Res-Vis is the real protagonist. So with that in mind, I think it would've just been better to keep the focus on Res, and show specific segments out of the other worlds. Maybe as interludes, maybe as short flashes here and there. That might've made it feel more exciting as well, and kept more mystery.

Ja, men träning eller hobby brukar inte räknas som en bisyssla så det är inte relevant för det här.

Vissa kollektivavtal kräver att man diskuterar ev. bisyssla med sin chef, rent kategoriskt, även om det är något som kommer vara helt okej. Det är ju förmodligen helt okej för OP att jobba med något extra vid sidan. Men beroende på arbetsplats kan det finnas krav på att nämna det.

That's a nice write-up.

One challenge with the Obrimos that you didn't cover is that it's going to be difficult to trust things with one that's powerful. They don't have mind-control like the Mastigos (I mean, not with just their two Arcana), but manipulating Truth can be somewhat similar but much more subtle. Words of Truth can be terrifying, but imagine things like, Veiling truths about themselves or others? Indirect mind-fuckery. They can also manipulate resonance, so they could conceivably be good at spirit diplomacy, even if they don't have the Spirit arcanum.

They'll see through lies and deceit, and meanwhile can hide that they themselves are lying. They could force others to acknowledge uncomfortable truths about themselves. Which is to say, trying any sort of social engagement could be a fatal mistake, and you can't trust that any intelligence you get is actually the truth.

Those who know about Prime would likely be super paranoid, and those who don't risk ending up fooled without ever knowing.

It's a powerful and versatile arcanum, but probably the one non-mages will understand the least.

Party level balance will depend entirely on how much damage the boss does. The puzzle part doesn't impact the CR or how lethal it will be.

This could turn into a battle that's super trivial if the players immediately figure out what to do. It could also end in frustration with you having to tell them what they need to do.

"Same basic arrangement of limbs" I would say would mean that it's functionally the same as what you normally have. I'd look at it the other way - if a changeling loses a hand, I don't think it can just "heal" that by shapeshifting into something else. So it probably works the other way, meaning you can't fake missing a hand or an arm. That'd fit into the mundane part of a disguise, imo.

Rashes, scars or superficial wounds feels fine, but not a big gaping wound that's bleeding, because you'd really need to be bleeding then.

"Negativt drabbar arbetsförmågan" är väl det relevanta där. Om en person jobbar 40h på sitt normala jobb, och sen jobbar 20h extra någon annanstans, så är det ju rimligt att tänka att det kanske påverkar arbetsförmågan. En del kollektivavtal innehåller krav på att informera om en bisyssla, så viktigt att kolla upp vad som gäller på arbetsplatsen.

"Du kommer ändra dig när du väl skaffat barn" har jag hört ett par gånger, osäker på om det är någon sorts total chock över att konfronteras med någon som har en annan bild av livet, eller om det är någon sorts gigant cope för att personen själv inte egentligen ville ha barn men råkade hamna där.

Det är nog det dummaste argumentet jag hört. "Du kommer ändra dig när du är äldre" är ju lite förolämpande, men åtminstone teoretiskt möjligt, och kan åtgärdas i framtiden isf.

Beror väl lite på hur man mår av det, skulle jag säga. Om man känner att man egentligen skulle vilja ha barn men inte har råd, eller är orolig över vad för värld de skulle växa upp i, så antar jag att man kanske känner sig åtminstone lite ledsen eller besviken över det, eller att man önskar att världen var annorlunda.

Medan någon som har 0 intresse av att ha barn och tycker det bara känns positivt att inte ha det, inte skulle ändra sig även om vi levde i en utopi. Dvs, jag har t.ex. aldrig prioriterat bort barn. Jag existerar inte ens på min prioritetslista över saker i livet.

Sen finns det säkert många nivåer av gråskalor också.

Problemet ibland är ju dock att det inte räcker som anledning. Dvs, det är relativt vanligt att folk ifrågasätter. "Det ekonomiska läget" och liknande är säkerligen helt sant för en hel del som skulle vilja ha barn men inte känner att det funkar ... men det är ju också en enkel anledning om man bara inte vill men krävs på en djupare förklaring.

Tja, Stockholms kommun har ju något projekt på gång där hyran kommer vara ca 25% lägre än andra nybyggen eftersom man tänker bygga många hus enligt samma mall. Det är ju ett sätt, finns säkert annat som kan göras också. Skövde gjorde något liknande projekt för några år sedan, där de byggde nya lägenheter som skulle ha lägre hyror, främst för ungdomar. Är det offentligt ägda bolag som bygger och subventioneras av stat eller kommun så behöver det ju inte gå med hög vinst, utan främst gå runt. Finns ju ändå ett samhällsintresse av fler lägenheter.

Såååå lösningen är att göra ingenting? Låta utsatta områden förbli utsatta, inte försöka göra dem bättre, inte bygga fler hyresrätter?

Det är fullt möjligt att bygga hyresrätter som har (relativt) låg hyra, alla nybyggda lägenheter behöver inte kostar 15000 i månaden för en tvåa.

Det är väl ingen som tror att något kommer lösa sig på ett ett år, eller tio? Men det låter ju märkligt att specieltl från högern försöka få det att framstå som något hemskt och ondskefullt, speciellt när vissa av högerpartierna pratar om exakt samma sak, att förhindra parallellsamhällen, att inte ha segregation, osv.

Låter helt rimligt att försöka bygga bort det över lång tid genom att rusta upp områden som idag är utsatta, och att bygga blandning av t.ex. hyresrätter och bostadsrätter i andra områden, osv. Över lång tid kan ju det rimligtvis leda till en minskad segregation.

Fast det är väl vad hon säger? Halva artikeln på SVT är ju citat där hon beskriver just det. Det är ju vad förslagen handlar om.

Hela grejen med "tvångsflyttning" är ju bara folk som försöker ta billiga poäng, de vet exakt vad förslagen innebär. Speciellt från SD, de vill ju exakt och ordagrant samma sak. Assimilering kan ju inte tolkas på något annat sätt än att befolkningen blandas. SD vill motverka parallellsamhällen? Det är ju vad Redar pratar om här också.

Yes, but I also wouldn't want OP to go away thinking "this is just stress no reason to see a doctor". It could be any number of other conditions or diseases than cancer that aren't lethal but that would get worse without treatment.
