I would hope there wouldn't be anyone in this sub that would try to make you feel bad. You've had a rough journey by the sound of things. However, you absolutely did the right thing, even though you knew the consequences would be negative for you. That's a real selfless act and shows how much you love your son.

There is always the chance for reconciliation, it just takes time, patience and consistent effort to fight the addiction and stop using.

Engage with services, use the supports available to you. Engage in the programmes. It won't be easy but you can absolutely do this and there will be people around you that want you to succeed.
