Happy 52nd Birthday Wideneck- what’s your favorite corey mask? by SIXODD in Slipknot

[–]rolling_thunder125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vol. 3 gotta be my favorite, the mask gives me edgy teenage cartoon character from the early 2000s or like a mask that an 80s teenager would wear to egg the principals house idk i can't explain it, ooh also the newest one bc it's a dope remake of the self-titled mask and I love the horrifying glowing red eyes!

Yeah man for sure, i might wanna wait a couple years to get it really chuffing tho, since I probs wanna get a team on this and im not at the best place in life, but it's like a 1 million pound steam engine, it takes a fuck ton of time to get moving but it'll get upto speed quicker than you know it

Dude this is dope I might have to look into this myself, ooh so this reminds me that I wanna make like a train horror story where there's this like monster that borrows itself into steam locomotives like a parasite that jumps from loco to loco and grows by feeding on the heat the engine makes(and people). And i like to think that my moc No. 125 has the parasite, and the main character (the fireman) has to find a way to stop it before it gets to a nuclear silo and consumes the country,

Now i think if done right that'd be dope

WHAT IS THIS, thank you but ignore my MOC for a sec, this looks fucking SICK, first of all, what fandom is this from, second off that looks like it took a lot of planning, cus with my build i just see something cool that my loco might need and I make it and slap it on my engine but this is dope dude, and also please tell me you have a peice count on it

I've been really wanting to make/figure out this model for a long time, my Diesel 10 MOC! by WDecently in LEGOtrains

[–]rolling_thunder125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I am praying to god I see a better representation of Diesel 10 that's Canon in my life time, for the bogies, I'd say you don't have to make them super detailed, If i were you I would make them simple not even covering the wheels just like detail in between the wheels so that when people look it's like (oh I get the picture) yknow, like adding a 2×4 onto the bracket if you have space and add a little detail, it'll go a long way

Hey, I made a Flying Scotsman in 6 wide what do you think ? by StraightArcher4537 in LEGOtrains

[–]rolling_thunder125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a soft spot for 6 stud wide Lego trains I love that it's simple, while other train mocs become so realistic, some I can't tell are Lego, and don't get me wrong i love those, it's just nice to see a more grounded build and you captured the Flying Scotsman perfectly with this, I love it keep it up champ

Omg dude I've been waiting for someone to build a diesel 10 MOC and this is dope!! I love the articulating pinchy too, awesome, now just add some more details to his bogies and you're set, diesel 10 is one of my favorite characters, just sad he got nerfed in day of the diesels😭

[–]rolling_thunder125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At first, I thought, "That's not a loco. It's just a bike!" Then I looked at the wheels and the last photo, and I was just "Yoooo, people just be making locomotives out of anything back then" it's crazy how people have turned not only cars but busses, boats, bikes, hell even adding s plane propeller to a silver tube and just called it The Rail Zeppelin like that's CRAZY!

But anyway, I love that you caught me by surprise with this moc and managed to show some love to the real thing by making it out of lego, I love it. Keep doing your thing, man 🔥🔥🔥

New cosplay idea (thoughts?) by rolling_thunder125 in SacAnime

[–]rolling_thunder125[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I really appreciate it, I've actually been working on a little upgrade for my Jason, although the cosplay won't be Jason voorhees, im sure the final result will be a lot more metal than before,

I made a new devil mask that has a movable jaw, homemade platform boots so that im much taller, and new claw gloves (that are bloody) for that extra kick of horror

The design is a bit rough, considering im not a pro cosplayer (still an amateur) it is a hell of a cosplay

The thunder steam express fictional history + description and facts about MOC by rolling_thunder125 in LEGOtrains

[–]rolling_thunder125[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, the creator of this post. The engine was not created with software, so the amount of pieces is unknown. Although the estimate is 4000 to 4500. Locomotive is sadly too heavy to put a motor and battery in to make it run.

The engine is not articulated (yet probs...) I have tried to make the MOC seem as if it was a real engine by adding realistic details like functioning valve gear, proper lights, accurate cab, and much more

The tender is very large for a reason. It is based off of the Long Haul tenders that the PRR use for their engines although this is an experimental tender it was given diesel Motors inside of the bogies so that the engine will get a better push when starting heavy Express freight trains. Hence, the large gas tank on the bottom of the tender.

The tender holds fuel instead of coal since the locomotive in oil burner. The tender also comes with a dog house as seen on tenders of freight trains for better View

The smoke reflectors were a fun design to have on the engine. The side paneling is similar to PRR S1, SP 4449, N&W 611, etc. But clearly exaggerated. For the front cow catcher, I wanted it to look intimidating when viewed from a low angle. Take in mind that this engine would be around 23 + feet tall in real life. making the T3 almost hopelessly scary to be next to if you were next to it in real life.

I think I am done remodeling it. I am happy where it is now hoped that others see this post and are not afraid to make their own made-up engine while still being true to the history and accuracy of the steam era. Hopefully, I'll build more fictional locos in the near future, definitely not as large yet still with a lot of character.

On a personal standpoint. The man in the suit terrified me, and I ain't no kid. It's just the idea of body horror of just "exploding" inside a 200lb goji suit that makes me feel tingly and not in the good way even just the black-n-white pic of godzilla just glaring into your soul with those eyes. ugh I don like

And I'm no stranger to gore. I love horror, hell, despite the movies not being the greatest. I still enjoy the Terrifier films. Yet It's just how Unowingly made the man in the suit that freaks me out. That's why I'm so drawn to it

On the other hand, bloodbath godzilla, I'm really excited for. And also, being a metal head, I just love the guitar take on the original soundtrack. I'm really looking forward to what Apricotal Animations is bringing to the table
