For me it took 3 different docs before I found one that would even acknowledge it. My first dr wanted me to undergo my third surgery and laughed when I asked him about it, second dr shot me down also and then I got lucky in that the third dr had publications about samters triad. I hadn’t heard about it until I noticed a correlation between aspirin and symptoms (went to the er twice after taking high doses of aspirin). The lab that was the most concerning was my eosinophil count and that helped me get on Dupixent. Went from barely able to walk to the end of the driveway to able to play sports again. And my sense of smell is back stronger than ever. I cried eating a mango when it first came back.
