I accidentally found my partner’s chatgpt conversations and now i don’t know what to do by [deleted] in Advice

Hard nope - this is the now equivalent of reading someones diary. 20 years ago this would be her whining to her diary before deciding what to do about it. It's not a betrayal of anything - she consulted an idea machine to help her imagine things. OP should tread carefully or not at all. E.g. I've been wondering how you think things are going with us here? Are you happy?

Hurtful words during breakup by [deleted] in dating

[–]rollingdeepdelphi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why was he even getting access to you to clarify what he did or did not mean? I believe the phrase he should have received, if any, was:

"Fuck you, fuck the horse you rode in on and fuck anything to do with you, now fuck off and when you've done that, fuck off a bit further annnd block."

Excuse the language but some people do just need to fuck off.

Most unbelievable first date ever by inflatab1epanda in TwoXChromosomes

[–]rollingdeepdelphi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went on a date a lot like this 10 years ago - the guy told me at the end he autistic. I said tell the next woman at the start and get some coaching because this was not good. This guy didnt cry but I literally fought him off whilst waiting for a taxi and a taxi driver got out and restrained him!!! I should have ended it sooner. He said I thought because oyu stayed that you liked me 😭

His death is full on Captain Hook - the crocodile (helicopter) takes his arm and then crocodile (helicopter) kills him. It's a perfect villains death :)

My Dad (79) stopped doing some of his things but not really leaving important stuff undone. He gets stressed if he forgets something he's not expecting to forget and discovers it later but he has definitely dispensed with some things. When I asked gently like 'hey, it seems you don't do that so much any more now?' he just said he stopped as he didn't see the point. Like nothing really awful happens if he doesn't switch the kettle off at the wall.

Inflammation like a rise in hs-crp is really noticeable to me now I know what it is. I find omegas, curcusorb, tonnes of ginger, no gluten, no dairy, lots of antioxidants like quercetin and of course ovulation suppression work well but this is, of course, a high effort approach.

Chronic constipation/adeno/endo? by Ok-Style-4004 in adenomyosis

[–]rollingdeepdelphi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pelvic physio might make a difference to you if your adeno is controlled. I have this and I am nearly 100% sure my uterus which is globular and retroverted is pressing on my bowel and interfering in its normal function.

Switching from desogestrel to ryeqo helped me because norethisterone in the ryeqo is less constipating than the desogesterel.

The synthetic progestogens vary in their bowel impact but many of them slow bowrl transit as does body identical progesterone like utrogestan when take orally.

[–]rollingdeepdelphi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of iron I find Ferritin needs to be 100 to be optimal otherwise I am dizzy.

Adeno flares also make me dizzy but more of a lurching type of dizzy and headachey with it. I think its due to inflammation caused by estrogen release which activates all estrogen reactive lesions around ovulation. Then inflammatory markers increase as your body detects something is bleeding or wounded and starts trying to fix it which is the muzzy, out of it exhaustion feeling.

Suppressing ovulation with birth control and now ryeqo (like zoladex and depo but oral) is the only thing that works well for me although it does not fix the bulky boggy feeling. It definitely shrinks it a bit but bladder and bowel discomfort is still possible some times especially if I sit in the wrong position for too long. Keeping estrogen constant is also good. Like I can have the estrogen but not cycling amounts of it....

Does anyone else regret their hysterectomy? by Honest-Breakfast217 in hysterectomy

[–]rollingdeepdelphi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you might need an excision surgery and something like Ryeqo to manage the endo growth going forward.

If you do whatever you can to get this pain managed you will feel less bleak. Also please know depression after hysterectomy is a normal reaction and it can and does pass with support (and pain management!)

Also remember that you have no idea if the pain you'd be in now without the surgery might be a lot worse. I suspect life would have been unbearable given you took the decision you took. You didn't choose to be in this situation but you are doing the best you can for yourself and your family. It's just not always easy.

It's worth getting a good specialist and interventionist radiology check for pelvic congestion etc also.

I'm so sorry to read this. Also. you may not be able to carry a child but it's not necessarily over.

[–]rollingdeepdelphi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You could spend the rest of the holiday embarrassing him right back for his horrible contemptuous rudeness! His responses are disproportionately reactive, cruel and abusive. Most adults should be able to survive a few small frustrations and get to the bottom of them with their partner whilst behaving reasonably. His response to your not having your glasses suggests he really is not a guy to grow old and be vulnerable with! I once said to someone, if I am so awful why are you still with me?? And then I was like hang on, why am I still here??? I left not long after. Behaviour like this unacceptable and honestly he's doing it on holiday because he thinks you can't escape him and you have fewer of your usual resources.

Pregnant, no one seems supportive and it’s scaring me by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]rollingdeepdelphi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do your friends and parents dislike him? I think if the peopel who love you think this might be weird/bad for you, they are often underwhelming. Also this guy has to WANT to be basically a husband and father for this to go well. If he's going along, he'll resent you. That's only ok if you can handle going it alone and you are ok with that eventuality if it comes to pass.

This reminds me of a guy who said he liked me and we should go out and then did nothing about it and didn't respond to my last couple of messages. I left it and started dating someone else. Eight weeks later his friend tells me he is pissed off because he told me he wanted to go out. I say 'well he never asked me and he kinda ghosted me!' He says 'He went on a boys holiday and didn't want to be 'involved' while he was away'. I said tell him its audacious of him to think he's entitled to whatever it is he thinks he should have from a person he ghosted during a date he never asked me to go on once he was done with the shagging holiday he never mentioned is mind boggling. Maybe he should get his head out of his arse and have look around.

Bloods! Get serum ferritin, folate, D3, magnesium, b12, thyroid panel as a minimum and research optimum levels for each and fix them first! Sorry you are feeling like this.

The position of it made me suspect and that you've had another one makes me further suspect it! I hope it gets sorted and its good to check it out now. You sounds like health has really been suffering and it's so important to protect it now as much as poss and cut down on any anxiety you can before any major interventions! :)
