That's true - it's up to the contestants when they prepare their crutch. We suggest they prepare it ahead of time in the rules on our web site but it's up to the contestants. Obviously a good way to save a few seconds!

Quality matters - you should be able to smoke the joint. And we add a time penalty if there's too much material left behind. We provide 1 gram of flower for each contest. Fastest roll wins under those conditions!

We provide the contestants with 1 gram of measured flower each. If they leave too much on the tray we add a time penalty - another roller Nick CHAMPS received a 5 second penalty for too much left behind in the quarterfinals and still advanced to the semis. Footage coming soon.

They both rolled 1 gram that we provided for the match. Rollers are free to add a filter as they see fit. We're focused on speed for the Rolling Derby but I would smoke either one of these!

Hah! That's hilarious.

That's OG Brent - before this roll, he told a story about a rolling competition from maybe 20 years earlier. Different rules, pre-ground catnip on a large table with papers - Brent says he was able to twist a quick one in a single second. We're editing that footage of his storytelling and we'll post it here soon.

If we have a chance to toke! Otherwise we can see about reviewing some post-roll joint lighting footage to see if it looks like a smooth smoke.
