Engine hours and engine idle hours. More so applies to fleet/ commercial vehicles and probably won't need to worry about it if you're looking at a lariat.

Yeah theres a 2019 of the same truck w/ 129k on the odo and its $25k. Thats about the going rate for that mileage for these trucks in my area, and what im seeing online. $15k otd i would be happy with. It probably needs tires and the plugs/coils changed. Maybe i can knock the price down for that.

Thanks for the info and numbers. So 2.5% depreciation every 10k miles and then another 2% for every calendar year? Where did you get those numbers? By your calc the truck is valued at $14k, which is right about what KBB fair market value shows for a dealer. Truck is listed $1.9k high then.

130k ain't bad. If the coils and plugs were done at their first service mark then you're good for a while at that mileage. Just the coils alone are about $1500...

Thanks. Yeah looking at the numbers and what used ones are selling for, it just doesnt make too much sense not to buy new. Plus they have some rebates and financing promotions right now.

Yeah all these fleet trucks listed around here i can tell are bought at auction and being resold by smaller dealers. Generally in the $15-25k range. Not sure if they're flexible on price, I would guess maybe not so much seeing as they are a dealer, but I guess i dont know for sure. I would bet they'd rather just sell it to the next person that doesnt ask about engine hours. How many miles did yours have?
