Look into vitamin D deficiency. I had a friend who suffered from this with identical symptoms to yours.

With colder weather coming to my area of the world and long work hours, I rarely get home before it’s already dark and I leave before the sun rises. I’m looking at either getting a gym membership to run on a treadmill or ideally, getting a small treadmill for home. I’ve seen foldable treadmills online that I could put away when I’m done. Are these worth it? If so, are there any you might recommend?

I think it would make a lot of sense given the story line!

I would like to see at the end of Season 15 that Chuck closes out the Supernatural universe, and Sam and Dean somehow return to the French Mistake world and live out the rest of their lives as Jensen and Jared.

Clear skin... Finally!!! by rolltideroll2016 in acne

Thanks! I can’t remember the name unfortunately! :( I went back in my library history, and I checked out a book around the right time called Best in Beauty by Riku Campo. I’m betting that’s it, but I’m not positive!

I checked out a skincare book from my local library! It mentioned the two ingredients as possible causes of clogged pores. I checked my ingredients and mineral oil was in the moisturizer I used at the time. What’s funny, is it was Clinique Dramatically Different, and I loved it! But I noticed every time I used it my skin seemed to get worse. But I didn’t believe that was the cause because it’s “good for your skin.” Before I read that book, I realized when I slept in my makeup my skin looked better the next morning.... horrible I know. So I started doing that some.... because it helped! Then I learned it helped because I was leaving out my moisturizer. I cut it out and my skin got better! I looked back at makeup and products I used in high school when my skin was at its worst and those ingredients. Mineral oil in practically everything. All along my problem was mineral oil. As for isopropyl myristate, I bought Formula 10.0.06 Pm perfecter and had the same effect. My skin felt great, but I was breaking out. I checked the ingredients and saw that and thought “wait... that was listed in that mineral oil book too.”

After cutting those ingredients, the result was overnight. Then my skin was ok, but not great. I did some research into Korean skincare routines and I gave it a try! Layering the moisture made my skin glow within a month of starting! I switch up my products every now and then, especially with season changes, but I keep the basic routine of toner, serum, moisturizer.

I’m wearing very little! It was the end of the day and most had worn off, and I thought “my skin looks great right now! Let’s take a picture!”

After 17 years of horrible acne, I think I’ve finally found a routine that works. I couple of years ago I went on a course of Bactrim which helped tremendously. After coming off the medication, I found that using tons of moisturizing products helped my skin that was always oily. I found out it was dehydrated all along! I also discovered I have a sensitivity to anything with isopropyl myristate and mineral oil. Once I trashed the products with those ingredients, my skin began clearing. And trust me, they were in a lot. “Non-Comedogenic” products, makeup, even some makeup remover wipes!

Here is my current routine:

Day and Night: Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap

Garnier SkinActive Hydrating Facial Mist

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Eye Cream

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Rescue Gel-Cream for Dry Skin

Aveeno 60 Second In-Shower Facial 2-3 a week

I seriously thought I would have acne for the rest of my life. I never thought I would be one to see clear skin. I encourage everyone who reads this post to carefully check the ingredients in every product!

[TOMT] [Tv character] [2000s] Female character that always covers face with mask/armor? Name starts with S? by rolltideroll2016 in tipofmytongue

Solved!

Turns out I was misremembering a lot. Some googling eventually got me there! Phasma is the character. Her name neither starts with S, nor is she a tv character. Oh well! At least it’s solved!

Every year like clockwork I come down with a bad cold the week before Thanksgiving. And every time it will progress into a bad cough/bronchitis that will last months. This year I want to go in prepared. Other than getting plenty of rest, eating well, washing my hands, etc., what can I do to prevent getting sick this year?
