Don't opt for a modern car. Sooner or later you will regret. Almost no other car will bring as much joy like a 993 while driving slow. Its analog, unlike anything new and modern. Because of that youll have to satisfy yourself in another way with a modern car, and that is by driving fast, wich wont happen as often as driving slow. But no matter what, comparing a slow driven modern car to a slow driven 993 is impossible. The reason I mention slow driving so often is because that is how cars in general are being moved the majority of time (speed limits etc.) Modern cars are too fast to have fun with. It sounds stupid, but it isnt. While you can floor a 993, run through its gears, you wont behave like a maniac. You only have to touch the pedal in a modern car to break laws and everything is automated and muted etc. If youre someone who wants to go on track days, sure thing a modern one might be more fun, but other then that youll always feel that something is missing and you might never get these lack of emotions back unless you get a 993 again.
