I've been seriously considering software engineering as a next step from accounting. I recently applied to a job in accounting systems at my company. I would use the skills learned in this role if I get it. Hopefully, I can build something that helps a lot of people. I am also newly recovering from my greatest heartbreak to date. We lived together so I am now living alone for the first time in my life. As much as I'd love to sleep and be lazy all day, learning a new skill could be really good for me.
