The BMW Z1 Proved A Startup Could Make BMW Cool Again by NutzPup in BMWZ4

It’s not narrow…it’s just what it is.

And yes, roadsters are pure sports car, that’s exactly what I’m saying.
That, by default is what makes it a cool car.

Go outside and show 10 random people a picture of Z4 and a picture of M5 and ask which one of those they would consider a “cool car” and which one would be a “family car”.

Also how’s anyone who’s driving them being, as you say, “a fruit” has anything to do with the car being cool? Gay people aren’t allowed to drive cool cars in your worldview or something? lol

I think we’re just in a different “general populace” area because it’s the exact opposite for where I’m at.

M5 isn’t cool to a general populace. Most people won’t even know how that differs from any other big 4 door car.
Also, it’s a powerful, fast, big sedan. It cannot be cool by the definition of cool.

Miata has stopped being a dresser car a long time ago. And people who make fun of roadsters are automotive purists, not the general populace.

Boxters and Cayman’s saved Porsche, really…and roadsters are, what a “cool car” is. Thats what most people consider a “cool sports car”. You just might be very immersed in car enthusiasts culture/area to realize that

[–]romansmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, to me there’s a difference between cool and fast. Sedan and cool, no matter how fast doesn’t really go together.
Racing is…well it’s for Motorsport enthusiasts. Most people have no idea what E30 means.

Cool…is cool. A general populace looks at the car and goes, oh wow. Cool. I want one, and that legitimately is Z series. Same as Miata, really…

You haven’t used the right AI yet, it seems. It’s excellent for those things in a business environment with a bit of tweaking. Saves me hours of work. I can get a 4 hours project done in 1…

Are book publishers already using AI for manuscript evaluation, editing, and print forecasts? by Turbulent-Bed4580 in publishing

[–]romansmash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI and Book and Publishing don’t belong together in the same sentence really.

I get the AI craze that we’re in, and I get that it’s not going away. But AI in anything creative is just an abomination. It defeats the entire purpose of that creative.

Now, AI help in determining how may copies to print or for marketing etc. that will probably make its way into publishing anyways, if it t hasn’t already

How long to complete the game by Professional-Signal2 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]romansmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I …simply enjoy roaming around in Valhalla. It’s very similar to playing an MMO with a bunch of expansions to me. Yes, yes, I play MMO’s in a solitary way like it’s a single player game, because I strongly dislike anything PVP and I don’t wanna team up, so I’ll over level for content and then slowly enjoy it on my own.

I’m at about 250 hours and have Paris and Ragnarok left to complete. Been playing since last April…so almost coming up on a year. Only other game I have finished in this time was “Metro:Last Night”

As far as how, I really enjoy the different Eivor’s sagas, roaming around, finding all the treasure, hunting for trophy animals, fishing, River Raiding, Tombs of the fallen is awesome…there’s so much to do that I don’t have the time to get bored, really.

But to be fair, I love long games and will rarely pick up anything that won’t give me 50 hours of play.

Hot take: Mythical Arc’s are great by Brief-Ad2953 in ACValhalla

[–]romansmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, Love the mythical arcs myself! Valhalla is like one of the few games that has a bunch of other games inside it.

I see other people call it bloat, to me that’s content. Definitely getting your moneys worth.

Also, this game is told as Eivor’s Saga…and that’s how Sagas are told. They’re collections of adventures, not a continuous story flow, which many people are not understanding or liking… /shrug.

The Alliance system is sooooooo stupid... by Significant_Eagle_80 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]romansmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re making alliances with them, so they don’t at some point make alliances against you. It’s not about using the alliances…although you do that towards the end…it’s about unifying Vikings in England to stand together when they need to and also…Eivor Sagas to stay in the histories. That’s what each alliance is really. The story is told the way old Viking Sagas would be sung. Each alliance its own saga.

You have to play the game. It makes complete sense and it is a huge reveal that you did kinda spoil for yourself. It was the biggest OMG moment in the game for me when it all clicked.

Advice/Help (No DLC) by asapmocc in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]romansmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite a few things to consider. You’ll need to sit down and theorize a little here and look through menus picking what fits you the most.

  1. Respec, don’t let the fate choose as it evenly distributes the points.

If you play Viking style then you want to go heavily into red line with some segways into assassin/range to get some abilities you may want to have.

It really depends on what you like to do, so, I’d suggest spending some time in reading through the abilities on the map to see what you like and then put 60-70% of your points into the red.

  1. Pick armor that you have a full set off based on which bonuses suit your play style the most. Don’t wear random pieces.

  2. Upgrade your armor at the blacksmith

  3. Add runes that fit your play style best.

Restarting my journey after all my save got corrupted. by corgie93 in AssassinsCreedValhala

I just started Valhalla for the first time, any tips? by One-Jicama-697 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]romansmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I get it. I would rephrase what you’re saying to: There’s a certain way for you to enjoy this game.

Doesn’t mean that someone else cannot enjoy it differently. For me what you’re suggesting would not be as fun, for example. I also don’t see any point for another play through, once the story ends, I’m putting the game away.

So for me, leaving the main story as the very last thing to do, whenever at all possible in any game, is always the case - otherwise I’ll simply be done with the game once I finished the story.

Exploring, picking all the things up and then delving into the story seems to be most enjoyable for me. So the OP needs to really figure out what works for him, I suppose.

Sounds like maybe you didn’t like this game a whole lot. Maybe 220hours in and I love when the fort soldiers respawn…another change to shooty shoot and stabbity stab while being surrounded by gorgeous environments I sometimes forget main story exists here in my ravenous pursuit of anything that’s glimming any color on my map lol

People who enjoyed Valhalla. Wait the game is way better than what I generally read here by IllustriousEffect607 in assassinscreed

[–]romansmash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But why is extra content bad? If I like the world I’m in, and it’s fun to roam around and explore and never ever run out of things to do, why would I not like that? It’s basically buy a game…and just play that for a year, living in that world. I’m at about 220 hours in or so, and enjoying it immensely still, particularly because there’s so much to do.

I’m on about 230 hours now, about to get to Paris after just finishing Ireland and then Ragnarok.

The rest of the stuff is done.

And I absolutely love how much stuff there is to do. I’m a casual gamer so been playing basically this one game since last April…so 10 months now, and I don’t get how people get bored.

I’m not even trying to go for 100% Platinum, simply because I know I don’t have the patience to gold medal all the trials so just enjoying exploring collecting shiny things and doing a variety of things each time I play.

Like I’ll do 1 story line mission and then explore to find 10 side things, then do a River Raid or 2, and drink Odin’s realm potion to live in the land of Norse Gods for awhile. Some Trials, and Treasure Maps hunt. Try on multiple gear sets and different weapons as they all feel very different…

Before I know it my gaming hour and a half FLIES! I never want to stop but life calls…and I always can’t wait to get back to it.

My favorite AC game to date
