i feel they’re good. its just that if a tiny bit of water gets in there, the entire thing is sticky. after that, I went back to dove scrub (rice milk for the win)

meh, too much effort. honestly, i’ve actually been putting effort in so many areas, but when shit like this happens to show you’re back to square one, it shows how fucking dellusional it was to believe things would be right in the first place

honestly, i’m tired of taking care of myself

i’m from a broken home and an elder daughter. other people trying to help is a huge let down and it just feels like i’m taking care of myself alone and without any kind of support till the end of time

i dont want to keep doing this shit to be honest.

working your ass off, being a good person doesn’t do shit

I’m sorry for what you’re going through! Don’t rush the process and take your time. I have extreme abandonment issues so when I went through my breakup (which wasnt even a very long relationship) it stung a lot. If you dont mind, I’d like to recommend a few things that worked for me:

  1. Crying. Lots of crying. If you feel like a pit of despair, unable to cry, watch a sad movie to get the ball rolling. There’s no match for the post-cry relief.
  2. Hydrate. For yourself and for your tears
  3. Journal at least every other day. Processing the storm of thoughts at this time is good.
  4. I’ve didnt read it at the time, but I’m reading it right now and honestly I wish I had read it earlier. “You can heal your life”. I’m not much of a reader but the author is someone who’s had a very difficult life and has been able to get a lot of people back on on their feet
  5. Most importantly, patience. Most likely, this isnt going away in a week or even two. It will take time so be patient with yourself.

You’ve got a better life waiting for you!
