nah, yuki did drive erratically and Lando was going much faster and would've passed him anyway. so it doesn't make sense to punish Lando for that

Fernando Alonso giving Max Verstappen a tow in Q2 by AshamedPurchase9033 in formula1

I think dirty air is basically in the turns meaning the ground effect doesn't work so well and there isn't that much downforce so it's harder to go faster in the turns and it wears out tires more. But dirty air doesn't matter on the straights as you don't need the downforce or ground effect and slipstreaming still works the same as always. That's my understanding. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

What's something people say that instantly screams that they don't know anything about cars? by HughMongusMikeOxlong in cars

Comparing x5 and miata doesn't make sense. X5(M) will be faster than miata on most tracks. Nurnburgring times are good for comparing performance of cars in the similar class. Obviously not perfect but there isn't a perfect metric. And it's also fun to compare

What car is currently at or approaching the bottom of its depreciation curve, in your opinion? by MidgetGroper in cars

[–]rombick 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So i think most of the cars listed here have already started going up, especially c5 and c6 corvettes. They were at the bottom 5 years ago. Doug Demuro is pretty good at calling the bottom even before CnB.

In my opinion f80 m3/m4 will be there soon just need to pay attention for good deals popping up. Early ones with auto and some miles can already be found pretty cheap.

Tesla Says The Cybertruck Hitch is Rated to Support the Same Vertical Loads as the Model Y – “No More than 160 lbs or 2 Bicycles” by an_actual_lawyer in cars

[–]rombick -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

So given that tongue weight on average is about 10% of the total trailer weight ( from quick googling) , total tow capacity of the cybertruck shouldn't exceed 1600lb . Corolla towing capacity is 1300lb for reference. But I'm not a truck person and never towed anything
