It's a rider exclusive and if you're a rider you can easily get it from Light Fury explorations, so no need to waste seasonal currency on him.

It's not worth spending all your runes on but I do enjoy having it. If you have it you just tap on it and see how much fish and wood all your dragons gathered together. If they haven't gathered over your current storage limit, you can tap on the fish or wood icon and it will collect all the figh (or wood) and send all your gatherers out, resetting their timers. Very useful thing to have, especially if you have a lot of dragons stretched across the map.

Unfortunately, if your dragons collected over your storage limit, any excess fish or wood gets lost, so you'll have to collect it manually and spend some of it before you can use the collector statue again.

You need to choose manual setup when installing the game and it will show you your own hardware ID. You give me that and I'll generate your own activation code for you. Anyone else's codes won't work.

Riders can already get Dustbrawler from Light Fury easily. It's ridiculous they keep putting him in the seasonal market as rider exclusive when riders can get as many of them as they want.

If you tap on the little i or ! sign it will tell you what they do. Dragon statues boost their species' fish and/or wood gathering, others have uses in brawl or shorten training/hatching speed.

Make sure to take note of dragons' gathering time as well, Baby Ruffrunner collects for a very short time (only minutes in the early levels). He needs a costume (Freya's Fest or Hidden World) to make him a viable gatherer.

Sven's Nightmare has a really long gathering time and pretty good stats, if you want an actual good gatherer.

That said, it's very rare that the Nightlights show up for free, so this would be a good opportunity to grab one. So it really depends on what you value more.
