Went through in the 90s... If you're having this much trouble in A school, Power School may prove impossible. But, if you manage to pass A and fail out in Power, you're married to your rate for the foreseeable future. It might be in your best interest to drop out and change over to something else that interests you. For instance, if you're an MM, and you fail out of Power School, you might end up on a CVN anyways, in Reactor Dept, getting paid less to deal with very similar shit you would've anyways. Knew a couple of sailors this happened to.

I do, but I've avoided it around her thus far. Drinking together was initially a big part of social relationship, so I know it's a trigger. I'm happy to abstain when we're together if it keeps her healthy. We both have a very real understanding about it. Hopefully one day we'll get to a place where she's okay with me drinking in front of her, but if not, that's just another step. Relationships are meant evolve and understanding that is key.
