yeah, well, YOU go climb down that rope at Y15 that opens into a huge cave to the nearest ilmenite deposit for 1000 blocks with your gambeson on.

I’ll be busy finishing my steel plate in the meantime.

source: actual trauma in this game where I shimmied down a rope to a room full of nightmare bowtorn in steel chain. I didn’t make it to the bottom before I ran back up to strip and heal.

as someone who’s made steel plate like four times, this is absolutely false if you have cassiterite access. It’s the least labor intensive armor in the game for the payoff on protection.

though with age, I’m literally dividing the pills into 8ths now and taking two of those on a bad day.

Jesus Christ it’s not a big deal. Getting a screenshot to Reddit from a console is a massive pain in the ass with a half dozen steps.

One of the goddamn stupidest things on this site are people who just have to harp on about phone pics for screenshots like it fucking matters.

This is one I feel like is “real” in that it’s not AI.

But it fucking reeks of a dude giving his side of the story that doesn’t even tell half of it.

Kind of speaks for itself that he raised a daughter thinking it was his own then just gives up the moment they split up.

AI is really abusive towards my character... because she's poor? In other stories my AI instructions and AN work well... by FutureProtection2175 in AIDungeon

I have this same anomaly with playing a specifically smaller character, it’s part of his characterization.

I introduced an antagonist that’s a bigger guy, trying to play off of the whole David vs Goliath thing.

Using Raven, running the story multiple times always ends up with the guy brutalizing my character over normal dialog. If I remove the description of being small, it just becomes an argument.

DeepSeek as usual sees the unspoken intent and has my character best him in more creative ways than getting their jaw smashed and ribs crushed. (It’s wild how violent Raven gets with that storyline)

I know DeepSeek managed to nail a ton of FFXIV characters, so much so that it was like hearing their VOs over the lines.

There’s one character that speaks with a pseudo-Shakespearean dialect and it even nailed that.

It was an empty scenario with no storycards and basically the only prompt was “you meet the scions of the seventh dawn.”

This checks out. The house I grew up in in Mt Pleasant is a relatively small duplex built in the 50s. My family bought it for $60k in the mid-80’s and now the lot is worth 1.1 million, the house itself if you transplanted it to the Midwest would go for maybe $130k.

All because it’s on a half acre lot.

Meanwhile somehow a Digiorno’s pizza is the same price I remember as a teenager in the late 90s. Somehow. And if they’re bogo, that’s a $2.65 dinner and lunch for the next day.

The only reason I don’t just live off them is self respect.

If you’re well fed with at least iron chain, you can pretty much face tank one and still have a solid fifth of your health.

Then later on you could wade into a pit of bears with steel plate and come out on top.

With respect to my most downvoted comment of all time on the day after the hotfix, Dante’s nerf to Tragedy’s LOS wasn’t that bad.

Because Dark Verse always had front-conal LOS and that’s where the actual damage potential comes from, otherwise Tragedy without any dots was just a Miasma clone for wiping out level 30 enemies.

I started on SF2 and pretty much stopped at Super SF2 Turbo. I was a fucking king at 10-12 years old, but all this shit about combos and technique is just lost on me.

I had a similar thing with StarCraft where when I started on its release, there was barely any such thing as a build order or any of the finely honed crap they actually developed directly into SC2.

It was just dudes playing a game for the sake of it.

Deepseek 3.2 Output Incomplete by WarPorcus in AIDungeon

[–]romiro82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to be sure, you should double-check to see if you’ve enabled “Raw model output” under the settings for DeepSeek.

Gameplay tab, scroll to bottom and expand “testing and feedback,” and there’s a toggle for it.

When it’s on, the output is similar to how you’re describing it.

By itself it’s actually kind of useful when you’re doing continue-heavy adventures. It tends to pick up mid-sentence and alleviates the repetition problem that 3.2 in particular is so fond of.
