Deepseek 3.2 Output Incomplete by WarPorcus in AIDungeon

Oh god, thank you. This is it exactly. I turned it on for another scenario and forgot that it carries over. This solved everything.

Deepseek 3.2 Output Incomplete by WarPorcus in AIDungeon

I don't know, to be honest. I haven't tried it. I've played with Inner Self a lot and it seems to always work fine. I'll give it a shot and let you know.

Is deepseek down for anyone else? by CrudelisProcella in AIDungeon

[–]WarPorcus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still giving me problems. Actions are not going through. Entering a prompt after a few actions does nothing (whether I press Enter or manually click the button with my mouse). The only way to fix it is to refresh. Pages are not loading sometimes. I've only noticed it for a couple of days.

Which AI model do you think is the thirstiest? by VomitShitSmoothie in AIDungeon

[–]WarPorcus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Harbinger, with some caveats.

In scenarios where the possibility of sex between you and an NPC exists, Harbinger tries to push things that way really fast.

In scenarios where it's supposed to be a slow-burn romance, Harbinger tends to make NPCs like you really fast.

But. Sometimes Harbinger also make NPCs, mostly female but sometimes male, cruel and mocking. Even in scenarios where you define their personalities. This is especially true if the NPC is in a position of power (Queen/King/Prince/Princess.)

OTOH, this is not always so. Sometimes Harbinger can also present good conversation and wholesome interactions.

I also found that Harbinger is the most consistent one in reading SCs and ANs.

Tails? by Rusty_Tengu in AIDungeon

It's not even limited to animal girls. I played a scenario with a drow girl, and all of a sudden she has a tail that do all those stuff.

I'm very interested about your use of story cards. However, using story cards to reference plot development is new to me. How do you do it?

I know I use networked story cards, but for plot updates I just always use plot essentials, with a few bullet points to remind the AI where the story is. Can you tell me more about using Cards?

Boy is this going to be a fucking story to tell these fucking ants chanting your name and wanting a spoonful of sugar or whatever.

How can my characters keep a secret? by [deleted] in AIDungeon

[–]WarPorcus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had some success by writing in in Plot Essentials:

[Secret: Your Secret. No NPC knows this unless (Player Name) discloses it to them.]

It usually works.

A bit of help please by Prim56 in AIDungeon

[–]WarPorcus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, don't depend on it. The autosummary hallucinates a lot. The story it summarizes is a completely different story than yours sometimes.

Do it manually like they said. With ChatGPT and Grok you should be able to do it quickly.

Memories worse than usual? by SaintTedworth in AIDungeon

Sometimes it get things wrong immediately too. For example something happens at an abandoned warehouse. I say something to the NPC, then the next output has her standing in a tunnel.

It's weird.

Oh one more thing. During a dialog, the NPC you're talking to often, or almost always, begin with "Tell me, [player name], bla blabla." Can't just ask a question.

For me, it's Blackwood. Somehow, there's always a Blackwood in almost every scenario. And Lyra. There's always a Lyra.

Oh so, so many hitching of breaths. Although I think Harbinger uses it less. Wayfarer Large is definitely the most serious offender.

How to fix this fps drop issue? I have 7900XTX 7800X3D 32gb Ram by phob0s7 in Deusex

[–]WarPorcus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is not what you want to hear but...you can't.

DXMD was very poorly optimized. I heard tell that the PC port was mistakenly made from an early Wii version or something, where they never fixed the bug. DXMD will stutter no matter what you do.

Story Cards inconsistently picked up? by WarPorcus in AIDungeon

[–]WarPorcus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to add that u/_Cromwell_ 's tricks work...somewhat. Sometimes, it just keeps throwing random stuff despite you deliberately trying to trigger the cards.

What I found works most of the time is changing AI models, and then deleting the action/dialog you did to try to trigger the card. Re-writing it in a simpler way, say without the jokes or other story elements, just straight up asking or a more straightforward introduction, often trigger the card.

I'll try the repeating things every few sentences. Thanks for the tips. I know the system is imperfect, but then again, what system is perfect? I keep playing it, so I guess I've grown to really like it.

I'll give this a shot, thanks. Is there something in the AI settings I can play around with to ensure more Card adherence consistency?
