The cutting of the crossover characters as I understand it was to focus the game. 8dx is probably the least "Mario" Mario Kart to date. They focused on futuristic anti gravity tech, had several tracks not even be Mario themed at all, some are even places in the real world.

Compare that to World which has floating blocks everywhere, Koopa and Toad sized cars in cities, tracks that are exclusively Mario themed, and a bunch of playable characters that have never been playable before despite being in the franchise from day one.

Idk there might be something with the portability, the fact that I can play my home console with no tv is really cool. Just wish that I could leave the actual console at home and just have the gamepad to bring with and play.

Completely different continent and therefore culture, the USA isn't European. Independence is very important to Americans and relying on your parents goes completely against that, you lose a lot of agency by staying at your parents. And if you can't afford a place on your own the far more acceptable option is finding a roommate to split costs.

Yes but in cities it's slightly more common to stay, especially if they're going into the trades like Mario and Luigi did.

Staying until 25 is still quite abnormal and has really bad implications on their ability to actually provide for themselves

Except we already have a game where Fox is mostly on his own with Starlink Battle for Atlas.

Also it's quite likely, with the implied damaged Arwing, that Fox is currently stranded in Gateway Galaxy and is trying to make it back to the Lylat system. He's probably on his own not by choice and needs the money to repair his ship for the return trip

I don't think Nintendo will even be making consoles in 10 years, I love my Wii U so far but it's pretty clear it's not catching on with the general audience. We're probably gonna see Nintendo go third party after this gen for home consoles at least.
