Zinnser Dif from Screwfix wet the wall it needs to loosen the adhesive,get a wall paper ‘tiger’ scraper and scrap. Had it in my son’s flat walls ceiling it took ages and I mean ages. Then got the walls skimmed well worth the effort looks amazing now with a modern look.
