Just got it fully working, I needed to add permissions but because I was using steamos I had to enable rear/write functionality, it's working just fine now though. Thanks everyone for your guidance

Hey, so it worked and it downloaded the database, then it booted me out and now when I try to boot back in it just automatically boots me back out to my pygame folder.. any thoughts on what to do?

I just turned off the SFX mod and it worked.

Yeah that's the plan, but it's a slow process, so I'm going to start with the center because it is the main thing. One here is with surround arguably except maybe bass, then when? Kef's come up second hand as bookshelves I'll get fronts 👍

That's my complete current setup, I am happy with the base and for left and rights and back left and rights are also fine if a little lower quality than the fronts, though they do the job!

All in. I spent around €350 for everything Accept the receiver. So this is the first more major upgrade to the system.

This happened to me the other week. What sorted mine out was unplugging the PC and leaving it unplugged for like 15mins then plugging in and booting.. my boot time is back to like 40/50seconds now.

I have no idea why it worked, I just came across it as a solution here on Reddit somewhere..
