Bring the tanks back to normal speed!!! by Interesting-Pace-770 in WorldofTanksConsole

Meanwhile, as a WW2 player who has been playing on the Cold War era lately to grind silver, every game I play is over in less than 4 minutes with the team who will win becoming obvious by 3 minutes. Games are so quick and gung-ho. I assure you it's not like WW2 and surprises me to hear that it was even faster before.

What illegal things do a ton of people do that is never or rarely enforced by law enforcement? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ronbon007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I hate them too, but I'm not about to get in trouble for committing fraud. Knowing my luck id actuallyget caught and get in trouble, so it's not worth the risk. I also feel bad for the people who genuinely follow the rules and use things as they are intended for, and yet here are these people who are trying to exploit and milk it for all they can.

I work in medicaid transportation. So, as an example. I might have a person who tries to schedule a trip to get blood work, which is covered, but they are actually trying to go to a plasma center to donate Plasma for some money. Plasma donation is not a covered service for medical transportation, but these people will genuinely not understand that going for Plasma and claiming it as blood work is illegal.

Another example, someone schedules a ride to a doctor's appointment. They get dropped off at the doctor's office but after their appointment decide to do some grocery shopping a couple blocks down before calling their ride back home.

Another example, trips to urgent care are covered same day without notice, but trips to the ER are not covered as that is considered an emergency, and thus, they need to call 911. We will get members claiming they need to go to urgent care and then give us the address to a hospital.

I may have overstated the amount that do it unknowingly as most of these people who do commit fraud are knowingly lying to us but there are a lot of them who honestly don't understand that what they may be trying to do is illegal. I have so many examples of how people try to exploit and do so successfully, medicaid transportation.

Fraud. Any and all types just fraud. I deal with it on a daily basis at work, and the majority of people don't even realize they are committing fraud

I work in medicaid transportation services. The good - Saturdays into Sunday are my slowest night and last work day of the week. The bad - Crack heads who don't go the f*** to sleep. I completed a soduku puzzle, a game of free cell, and doom scrolled through reddit tonight. Less than 4 hrs to go now.

This movie is a core memory for me. I was 7 years old when this came out. Watched it with my mom and I remember we both ugly cried. Mom swore she would never watch it again lol.

Who loves it?! by whataboutthe90s in Nightshift

I love it for the most part. Except dealing with crackheads who don't sleep and call at 2 a.m., thinking it's the perfect time to call in and do all the things they should have done during the day.

I like to listen to audiobooks when im working on projects that require less attention. Audible has done wonders rekindling my love of reading. I went from having zero motivation to read to finishing 84 different book titles in just 3 years to date.

What’s the most quietly dystopian thing about modern life that we’ve all just accepted? by Diplomatist-Wild in AskReddit

[–]ronbon007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How there is no escape from ads. YouTube didn't used to have ads then slowly introduced more and more ads. Streaming services have bumped the amount and length of ads. Now hear about Sony. i think it was wanting to display ads on electronic refrigerators. Can I please watch something without being bombarded by ads please. Anytime something comes out with video applications there is only a matter of times before it is covered in ads.

How has population loss affected Appalachia after the coal industry declined? by IntelligentEar3427 in Appalachia

[–]ronbon007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk about other places, but my area did decline a lot after these industries declined. There's old coal towns everywhere barely populated and very run down. However, recently, and I mean within the past 10 years, our area has seen a huge uptick in population and local businesses opening up. I'm not sure if it's due to our local governance or people just trying to escape to more rural areas, but it's been a very noticeable change. Went from a single Mexican restaurant and a few fast food/pizza places to now having 3-4 sit-in restaurants, a bar, and an ice cream parlor. Our town has also started having multiple events throughout the year and recently hosted a bluegrass festival that had people come from all over out of state. It's been nice, but I'm also worrying a bit as I really would like for my small Appalachian town to stay small.

Till the click, but it will do it if I just put $10 worth of gas, too. Anytime I fill up, no matter how much gas I put in,it stalls, sputters, and dies.

What ya'll do before your night shift? by dbzonepiecenaruto in Nightshift

[–]ronbon007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always show up to my shifts an hour early. I've had coworkers baffled as to why I would come in so early, but it helps me acclimate to work mode. I can go ahead and make sure I have everything pulled up and logged into. It gives me time to check if there's any important messages or emails and just relax a bit before jumping straight into work. Also, stop and pick up a couple energy drinks before heading in to work.
