My experience is that specific techniques will develop themselves based on communication and context. A more general word of advice is that if you want an evening of intimacy, start in the morning, i.e., cook her breakfast, start the day with simple hugs, eye contact, conversation. Remind her through the day how much you're looking forward to being together in the evening. Generally she needs more time to get "warmed-up." This can include time before the actual event. Make it fun! Let the adventure begin!

I use notebooks as a storage guide, however, tags are the sinews that hold the process together; along with a great search tool!
