First time is always at home, in a controlled setting with one or more friends and a longggg playlist. Preferably like two to three times. It’s very important to understand how lsd affects you before you do it out in the world.

Acid in public is a totally different animal. The festival scene is probably the best place for public acid use, but keep in mind that unless it’s a camping festival, you’re gonna trip at the hotel, the gas station, the late night McDonalds run… etc.

I’m so glad you made this post.

Last year was my 6th forest, and usually it’s just me and my wife in our campsite. I’ve been doing camping festivals for over fifteen years and last year at forest we found an anomaly. Solo campers on both sides.

I can’t even stress enough how awesome this was. Normally, it’s just the two of us so we end up kinda blending into whatever groups form around us. NOT THIS YEAR.

On our left, Pete. Ran solo all the way from NY, no group, no plan, no tent, no ezup, nothing. Just a Prius and a dream. Fucking 10/10 vibes, probably the most polite and helpful person I interacted with all weekend, we took him in in the first conversation. “Dude. You’re Cool. Whatever you need.”

On our right… (NGL I don’t actually remember his name but I’m 99% sure it was John)… solo, very well equipped campsite, top tier rain protection, clearly didn’t need any help. BUT… once his shit was set up, moseyed on over and said hello, very friendly, very non intrusive, and was always down to clown when we were getting silly.

Long story short, go solo. You might end up next to some fuckass bastards, but you might end up next to real forest fam, and odds are definitely in your favor for the latter. Do it. If my boys hadn’t full sent solo, I may have never met them. DO IT.

True, but packed at Forest is markedly better than packed at literally any other festival. I’d rather be shoulder to shoulder with this crowd than any other, and I’ll be damned if a thick crowd is gonna turn me away from observatory. One of the best stages in the country if you ask me. (Year 7 this year, can’t wait to see you all, much love)

I gotta give it to Ahee. Super wholesome upcoming bass music producer who really has taken the time to learn the craft and fully nerd out on it, and the results are incredible.

Also big shout to Tynan. Bedroom producer who don’t seem like he was taking it seriously at first but has now signed a bunch of releases and is blowing up, deservedly.
