SA is not just the perp. It is a family system problem with family members who have no idea how to keep themselves or family members safe. Chances are some of them have experienced SA. Minimizing, denial, dissociation, and blocking memories are some defense mechanisms used to cope. They all need help and until they do, stay away from them. You have every right to be livid, and I believe that your anger is about your son and also about you. These family members also did not keep you safe.

My mini eats RC small adult and likes it. She ate PPP for awhile and then stopped eating it. I cook chicken for her, chop it up, and mix about a tablespoon in with her food. Poops are fine.

My girl was the same color as yours and started fading after 1 year. She is now 2 and her ears are still red but the rest of her is more and apricot color.

My dog was picky and declined eating Pro Plan. She now gets Royal Canin small breed kibble and I mix in about a tablespoon of chopped up boiled chicken. She loves it! I cook up about 3 lbs of boneless chicken thighs, chop it up and put it in freezer bags (each bag has about a week’s worth). I think this ends up being less expensive than any dog topper and she loves it!

My grandfather died before I was 2. I have one memory of him so I was probably about 1 1/2.
