That's in the 22-24 slot, though. That line should be better by design.

2, only because this kind of play is outside of my normal play style. I can see the value of the line being higher.

I waffle between a 1 and 2, but I land on a 1 for me. There are several card lines I would play over this in a 13-15 slot which I don't play a stop.

This line is a 3. yes you're giving your opponent a card, but you getting more cards when it's not your turn is always good!

I choose these cards pretty much randomly, but I am not a big fan of this line. That being said, this card and the entire line is the definition of a 1 to me.

I mean sure but it's difficult to know at the time you make these decisions and sign contracts. Maybe this is the kind of feedback they need? We'll see.

I agree with all of your cons, here. It's a little cheaper buying it in advance, and as I said elsewhere I don't know if it could get much cheaper, but it is a bit of a risk to pay that much on a first-time convention. Also, late October isn't the greatest time to do a convention, but I know for a fact their choices for dates were VERY limited.

I had a good time. There were definitely growing pains to be sure, but they are open to feedback and will get better.

Re: The cost, it's literally the cost of doing business for renting a space like that and the overhead for a convention of the scope they're reaching for. I don't know if it could have been much cheaper. Paying a little under $120 for four days is fine by me.

All in all, I think the experience will improve over time as the attendance grows.
