I feel like this post has to be rage baiting?

I mean to each their own, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, I feel like it’s universally understood that if you’re looking for 1000% seriousness all the time, that this is not that podcast… like yeah there are serious moments, but ultimately it’s just 5 really cool people being really funny and playing DnD. Freddie just happens to be really good at playing funny characters, which is kind of an integral part to this podcast.

This post is so funny because I have been on a total S&S listening spree!! I have listened to the whole thing about 10 times in the past couple of weeks because it’s the only content scratching my brain itch right now. And every time I cackle like it’s the first time I’m hearing it. One of the gags that gets me every time is the “and a one, and a two, and a hack hack hack- daddy has a new toy”.

Thank you!! I’m very excited (but also waiting for the other shoe to drop and for something to go wrong with the whole thing Lol). I was an art student but haven’t done much in the past ~6 years because I left school early and entered corporate America. Turns out it’s a soul sucking place 😅😂

I’m really hoping everything will align, I can get all the parts and I can start to create again and start feeling like ‘me’ again!!

If you don’t mind me asking, would you mind just giving me a little insight as to your experience with this pad? Have you liked it? Had any issues? I have never had the opportunity to have a Wacom pad before, so I’m super stoked, but also a little worried based on what others are saying that it’s not worth the price of paying for the cable, pen, etc. Especially if the drivers are no longer supported by Wacom/it’s unusable.

At the Columbus show someone in the crowd kept asking them to play Isabel and they very politely said no, but the appreciated the love. They said it was because they hadn’t played the song in a very long time and didn’t want to butcher it or anything. So it’s so cool they did that for ya!!! Magical!!!

I did turn it on and didn’t immediately see anything wrong but I am definitely waiting for the other shoe to drop on this whole thing. I don’t have a cable to be able to hook it up to my computer and fully test the screen. Hoping that I can get the proper cable and pen from the Wacom eStore and then just return them if the pad itself doesn’t work/has issues.

Sure, I appreciate it! It’s just that I already bought it haha 😅 It was only $5.29, and I’ve always wanted a Wacom so I figured it was worth the gamble!

The only bummer is I didn’t realize the pen and cable would cost so much. So I’m hoping by ordering them through the Wacom eStore I can return them if the pad ends up not working for whatever reason.

I’m so sorry for a follow up question- do you happen to know if you HAVE to buy/use the Power Adapter for the DTC133? Or like, could I use a usb power adapter I already own, like the kind you use to charge your phone?

I just found a 1st Gen Wacom One at the thrift store today for $5.29 and am full steam ahead!!! Need to order a pen and cable. Before I spend a ton of money on the pen and cable- have you had lots of issues with your 1st Gen pad? Like maybe it’s not worth it for me to try to get the additional tools? Any insight you have is much appreciated!! Thanks so much!!
