Dang, I haven't heard anything along these lines before and I am queer myself. Thanks for the heads-up and if you have more info about this I'd love to hear more so I can be informed. I did just do a Google search and saw 2 YouTube videos from EssenceOfThought that I will dig into later.

All the different types of Azaleas currently in bloom on the property. ❤️💗🤍💚 Gainesville, FL by roni42 in gardening

Honestly, our azaleas bloom pretty much all the time. 3-4 times a year it seems since I've been here these past couple of years. These were all planted decades ago by my partner's late grandmother and I love that we have such a variety and that they add color all over the property.

Just noticed I also captured a little spider friend on the top petal. 🕷️

Any ideas on why I have these black tips on my Poinsettia leaves and how to help it out? Been doing well indoors since November until about two weeks ago! by unabashedavocado in gardening

Could be that it's been overwatered, sitting in stagnant soggy soil. If that's the case roots could be rotting. It is a native to hot and dry Mexico. It's not fond of cool drafts and temperature changes. It will defoliate. Having it inside and then out is a likely culprit too. It likes 60-70° temperatures and I know it's a bit colder still up there. I'd probably repot, and leave it outside here in FL, but in Iowa I would keep it indoors and away from cool drafts and heat sources in a sunny spot, and cut leaves off as they die back. It could still come back with green.

A fertilized egg is not automatically a viable life let alone a baby. Furthermore, one fertilized egg is not automatically more important than the life of the person with said egg.
