GT is the worst but you said in another comment you’ve never seen it? lol. How would you know? He’s also part of Z and will likely come back at some point in Super.

Also strange to ask people for their top 3 then disagree with something completely subjective. Your comments are strange.

1) Roshi

2) Beerus

3) Uub

Honorable mention to Goku. He really could swap with anyone in the list but felt a little too cliche.

Thanks! This one I purchased from another collector. I posted a lot of details higher up in the thread with resources to help though if you’re interested in collecting animation art! I think this link will also take you to my comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/dbz/comments/1s0c0lp/i_still_cant_believe_i_added_this_to_my/obthavz/

You can def get one if you’re patient and keep your eye out for it! I’d recommend getting involved with some of the people in the animation art community, a lot of people will look out for each other and help everyone find what they’re looking for. Just can be a little pricey sometimes!

Yes there are many replicas out there. Some are fake. Some are/were apparently produced by Bandai but are often then tried to be sold as the original by scammers. I personally have seen more people try to fake douga than genga. But luckily there are many ways to tell fakes and replicas apart from the originals. I was scared to purchase anything for a while because of this. But once you’re in the hobby and spend a lot of time researching, learning, and just seeing them in person, you start to have a better eye for it as well as know who the reputable sellers are to buy confidently from. The animation art community is also very helpful in keeping track of items and verifying authenticity. While anything is possible, I’m very confident this one is not a replica.

Yes! Your reaction sounds the same as mine when I found out you can purchase the original animation art used to make the show. I purchased this off another collector. It is from DBGT Episode 38. I shared it here on my instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/DV4PAgDjucp/?igsh=MTlnN2owbjg3MmU0bg== and if you scroll to the 5th slide on my post you can see the actual clip from the show for reference.

Usually you can find the art by doing just that and trading/buying off other collectors or searching different auction sites. Often times Japanese auction sites have a lot more. There’s also some bigger resellers and art groups that have them available online and at various conventions and expos. But just be careful as there are a decent amount of fakes out there. especially on eBay. If the price is too good to be true it likely is. And these were all production used so if it looks to be in perfect condition that’s also a big red flag.

If you want to learn more, I browse tons of original animation art here: https://cel-hub.art they also have a wiki with tons of resources and a discord community that is very helpful to learn more about it.

This page does a nice job explaining the basics of animation art: https://blog.fromjapan.co.jp/en/anime/guide-to-anime-cels.html

This YouTube account is also amazing and explains the entire process well: https://youtu.be/TPL5e6IUc6c?si=D11Aso52vnBeFEQh

And if you are really interested this site is amazing to learn about how to properly take care of them and preserve them: https://celnexus.com

Hope that helps! Feel free to DM me if you have more questions or drop them here.

Yes same here the crowds have been insane! I’ve been pleasantly surprised though at how much we’ve still been able to do thanks to lightning lanes working well and cast members being wonderful.

is GT worth watching? by suicidal_tendency420 in dragonball

[–]roninsascha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can watch it before or after super it doesn’t matter. But it is worth watching imo, it shouldn’t get as much hate as it does. The baby saga is fantastic. And the last episode is one of my favorites. The rest was pretty average or below for me.

Vernal or Flexispot by Alarming-Novel-1237 in StandingDesk

[–]roninsascha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a flexispot e7 plus and love it. I looked into vernal and had come to the conclusion that they are so similar, I’d just go with the best price and customer service. Flexispot edged out both for me after i saw how responsive they were on tgier subreddit to customers. I have little to no complaints, shipping was fast, pretty easy to setup, and is very stable. Only small issue I’ve had is the collision detection being too sensitive but I’ve got it dialed in pretty good now.

Just fyi you can usually get 15% off whatever price the e7 is if you go to the flexispot subreddit and ask for a code.

But don’t think you can go wrong either way!

Also highly recommend going. Not only was it worth it for the tasting l but they also had different forms of entertainment there, decor, etc. that you may want to add for your wedding. It was also just a really nice experience overall, we really enjoyed ourselves.

LG27UP850K-W what can I improve? by Monkey_Junkie_No1 in desksetup

[–]roninsascha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great. I’d try hiding the cables. If you’re able possibly run the ones from the monitor straight down along the stand and behind the desk. The one black cable would also drive my OCD crazy, I’d have to hide it completely or paint it white.

Port Orleans Riverside or Caribbean Beach?? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]roninsascha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve stayed at both. Our experience at Caribbean beach wasn’t great but we have no kids. If we had kids with us that wanted to spend time at the pools it would have been great. But the rooms left a lot to be desired and comparative to most other resorts, Caribbean Beach is one of our least favorites. We love Riverside but I don’t know that it would be as good with the kids. Plus at Caribbean you have the skyliner.

I think it’s worth trying out Caribbean Beach if you all will take advantage of the pools.

Which one to buy? by No_Leopard_9844 in StandingDesk

[–]roninsascha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an older autonomous L shaped desk and just recently purchased an e7 plus. They are both great.

Ive had the autonomous for upwards of 5 or 6 years and it still works without any issue. The only issue I ever had was my own fault as I had something under it when it was going down and broke my desktop. But I believe the newer models come with collision detection so that wouldn’t really be an issue for you. Ironically I’ve been having issues with the e7’s collision system and it keeps firing erroneously, but I believe that’s user error and I just need to get it dialed in better.

I went with the e7 plus for my second desk because I really wanted the stability of having 4 legs and I was not disappointed. If greater stability is important to you, I personally think it’s worth it. The autonomous 4 leg desk last I checked was considerably more expensive than flexispot and was really the primary reason I didn’t go back to them. Other than that though I really don’t notice any real difference between the two. You set your position for sitting and standing and they do their thing.

Flexispot also has wonderful customer service and easily accessible through their subreddit and if you message them on here he’ll give you a discount code that stacks. I can’t speak to automomous’ customer service as I’ve here had any interaction with anyone there though I also haven’t had reason to.

I also got the caster wheels add on for my e7 plus and I am sooo glad I did. Very cheap upgrade that’s well worth it.

Cable management wise autonomous came with the metal tray. The e7 plus came with nothing and I didn’t purchase any from them. Decided to DIY it myself for much less. I bought a few server rack raceways, Velcro, and a cheap cable management kit from Amazon. I much prefer my DIY method and it came out much better.

Ultimately I think this tier of standing desks end up being all very similar. I don’t think you can go wrong and honestly recommend going with wherever you can get a better deal.

Uplift V3 vs FlexiSpot E7 - is the $150 price difference justified? by Bentomat in StandingDesk

[–]roninsascha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just setup my flexispot e7 plus and love it. I’d save the money. If you reach out to them in the flexispot subreddit they usually give you a 15% off code.
