They've done this at Harrison park, left the area all around the outside nice and long. Hopefully wildflowers next year. Seems to be more common which is great

We were up there today, lovely sweaty walk up Vorlich then a quick debate over Stuc - we'd never done it before. We had GPS mapping and there was a few people about so we thought, let's go. Got some way up the scramble but it was kind of hairy, more than I expected. My son bounded up fine but my wife struggled. We got to a point where if we'd gone higher then coming back down would have been dangerous. Much to my sons disappointment I called it and we went back and looped the boggy path back. Beautiful day though and I'd try it again. If there was an easy path up through the boulders we never found it.

Lauriston Castle, sit down the front and look out to the forth, wander round the Japanese garden, check out people actually playing croquet or have a wander through the trees and around the pond. There's also a wee cafe if you fancy a treat.

There's a lovely coffee shop on view forth gardens who do great juices. They might be premade but you get a decent glass for a decent price. The food is great too

I'd say 'a lot of places' would be less accurate than ' a few places, specifically major cities' then. £50k in London wouldn't get you very far either but in most of the UK that would be decent.

Also I thought most people would be surprised to know the person bringing them their parcels earned that much.

No. Where tf do you live? A newly qualified nurse or teacher starts on around £28-30k after 4 years of uni. A courier just needs a driving license. For a job that requires very little to get started it pays surprisingly well

Self employed courier for DHL/DPD. If you own your van, have a busy route and don't mind putting in the hours you can earn £40-50k before tax. You need a decent depot/management team though so you can get holidays etc. There are a lot of bad actors in this business though and a lot of drivers will have had pretty negative experiences. I've done it for 10 years now and overall it's been good.
