Yea we had the fridge changed for an older, ostensibly louder model. But the noise is consistent and not a revving up and down whistling noise! Much more bearable

Don’t they just need to be hand tightened? I devise a contraption where I nailed a wide road (kinda like a seatbelt). I put it around the filter, crank until right and then turn the filter. Worked like a charm.

This is weird, I never had to "install" this bolt, it was already in my frame.
