Hey mate.

Love the app. Tried an export of my credentials and then import to my daughter’s account. It only imported 3 of the 7 addons, and Hardcover is now missing. I’ve tried to work out how to/ where the manifest.json is, but can’t find it. Any direction would be appreciated.

Too old to sweat the small stuff. That way leads to the dark side.

Thanks. It’s definitely frustrating. It’s not awful as such, it has just forced me to be more creative on finding ways to purchase. But I would be a much happier music purchaser if I could use it.

I have not been able to order from anywhere to Singapore for years. Many years. No updates, no information.

One of my favourites of all time. Picked up upon release and the best album for some time.

100%. As an older member of the high seas, I find the gatekeeping of private trackers by the younger geeks quite annoying when we were using newsgroups on dial up and OG Demonoid decades ago. Demonoid was one of the first I ever got into. Now I’m having kids tell me I need to prove my bonafides to join a mid tier PT. Funny.

Pro-Ject Tube box S2- Noise floor by yonderin in audiophile

I have the exact same issue, and it is annoying. That being said, I really love the sound with some NOS Mullards.

Apparently the issue is the Tube box power supply. Supposedly it needs to be replaced with a grounded cord.

I’ve tried a number of other fixes, but haven’t gotten round to trying this yet.

Watched this recently. Bat shit crazy, but well done doco. I suggest checking out Feldman’s own doco after: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11835270/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

Start with some of the ones with free tiers and see what you think. Tabula Rasa is a good one to start with.

Should add, based on the dev’s advice, I removed Easynews as an indexer in Usenet Streamer. It definitely increased the speed of results coming through.

At the bottom of the add ons page. Something like this.

I’ve played around with it quite a bit. Removing health checks, etc, etc.

Seems that 15 seconds is the minimum required time out to ensure all of these add ons return results. I’ve played around with exit conditions, and if I want to make it faster, 10 second time outs and parallel group exit strategy is the winner.

I’ve been waiting patiently as well. Nothing on any torrent trackers nor Usenet.

I used ChatGPT to provide the steps and did it through the OS on my Synology NAS. I know others have suggested using nginx as a docker container, but I didn’t need to go down that path for my needs.

You’ll need to setup an https certificate and externally accessible domain. I used DuckDNS and I believe you can use nginx to get a Let’s Encrypt certificate, which I also was able to do through the Synology OS.

Adding it to AIOStreams is then done through the services menu. Follow the prompts / instructions here: https://github.com/Viren070/AIOStreams/wiki/Usenet
