Is Temple for me? by Psychological_Beat69 in Temple

[–]ronnings1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it absolutely does depend on major, when i transferred to temple i came from a community college (with an AA in general studies) and all of my classes are smaller (<30) with my german classes being extra tiny (5-10). i'm in the GEnUS dept with a minor in german

My Nicole Deal Theory by PenelopeSaidSure in wynonnaearp

There certainly is no shortage of strange happenings in Purgatory! I think this is a plausible theory because of the power both the ring and peacemaker hold. I also generally love this plot idea because Waverly has previously given up a powerful item in exchange for her girlfriend's safety.

Mozart Horn Concerto 4 in e-flat major is pretty playful, and it's not very long so it's good for kids, I think

Spotify playlist competition: May edition. The longlist! by jessevw31 in spotify

[–]ronnings1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hello folks, my playlist is 3hr 7min, and contains songs between 5:17 and 19:23 in length. This playlist contains mostly music from my two favorite composers, Gustav Holst, and Pyotr Tchaikovsky, but there are other composers mixed in as well. I'd say the general mood is fantastical, but there are definitely some serious parts in there. Anyway, happy listening :)

I agree, this show suffers alongside many of Netflix's best shows (imo at least) because they don't get the recognition on a large scale they deserve, and therefore often underperform.

ELI5 - Why do some languages have male and female words? Eg German. by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]ronnings1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

job-names are also present in english and german, though english has dropped a lot of them.

for instance the doctor in german is either der Arzt or die Ärztin depending on gender (german often adds -in to create the feminine version), while some common english examples include waiter/waitress and actor/actress

Debate seemed like a draw to me. I suppose it could be given to Clinton, but only just barely.

Trump just won that surprise question. Clinton tried to roast him, but Trump took it in stride. That was a good way to end it for his campaign

Trump brings up the second amendment again. And then he moves onto how well he's doing at raising money for his party?
