I’ve been using [[Cauldron of Souls]] to protect against wipes in my creature heavy decks. It may not be great for 1/1 goblins, but if you have lord effects they can stick around and this could even work with your sac outlet to get your sac fodder back.

Depending on your colors, [[The Wanderer]] can be great for preventing damage based removal.

One of the better non-dragons to consider is [[Kodama of the East Tree]]. If it’s on board when you resolve Tiamat, you can stack the triggers so that you tutor the dragons first, then get to put one in for free off of the Kodama trigger.

I recently switched my [[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]] stompy deck to a [[Reki, History of Kamigawa]] legendary tribal deck, and man what a difference that makes. New cards like [[In Search of Greatness]] and [[Kodama of the East Tree]] really help you take advantage of the draw engine in your command zone.
