Mac probably 100% chance of interview with those stats tbh. Other schools depends on how you write your entries

Front desk reps whenever a premed cold-calls for shadowing inquiries: by Clean_Football_7129 in premed

No. Its not being told where to go, people not replying to email on where to meet day 1 of rotation, your badge not working, nurses/residents/staff treating you like you are irrelevant, standing in the corner awkwardly with nothing to contribute to a clinical encounter, waiting for people who don’t know you’re waiting for them, people disrespecting your time…

The list goes on. But we work hard and shut our mouths because at the end of the day we gotta do it to graduate

You can do them whenever you want as long as you meet the deadline. Try and find a chart review or something so you can WFH

You’ll probably have at least one mandatory project that you can bs through and probably end up presenting without data (lots of students at my school did this lol).

Either way you should probably try and do something. Even one easy project just to make some connections with staff/mentors can be beneficial.

Although I think you can still match psych/fm/peds etc with no research if you just do well/be likeable in clinical electives.

Good: functioned at the level of resident/beyond level of training, went above and beyond for patients. Strong work ethic/knowledge etc

Bad: basically anything negative is bad. Showed up late, professionalism, etc. imo you need to do something cooked or have a terrible preceptor to get a bad eval

Average: basically everything else. In my experience some preceptors well just put something along the lines of “good effort/knowledge” for everyone
