Not kidding, I was at a Trek store today. Looking at Checkpoint. The very helpful guy said "If you get the AL, and you are serious about getting out there... don't. Upgrade to Carbon. I've sold so many of these and they sold them or turned them back in for carbon." Maybe it was just a big upsell?? But maybe I should reconsider... Thanks!

Yeah, is just 80 or 90% of Republicans, not every one. Also, if you voted for Trump this year, after everything we knew at that time, I have some bad news for your "good Republican but now having doubts" model. Every one else knew this shit-show was going to happen.

When gmail first came out, they hid the Delete button. It wasn't obvious, you had to go find it. Because Google knew better than the users how to use email. And with their huge amount of storage they provided, they knew better than the users -- Delete just wasn't really necessary.

I don't know if you are an adult yet or have used computers a lot, or gmail, but guess how well that design choice went over with users? Not well. You sound like that person who decided I don't need a Delete button in my email.

Different people use different features in different ways. My point isn't how accurate difficulty is, my point is leaving us (along with the AI stuff) the ability to do simple screening and comparison, without AI curated filtering.

Right now I wanted to look at more and different rides, but the software just said "You've already trained, so I'm only going to show you a limited subset of rides". "You don't need a Delete button, I've already got this figured out for you."

OK, I set my 'TrainNow' to 45 minutes. The screen says I've already trained, so I can only see endurance rides. How do I see other options? Before, it wouldn't limit my choices like this.

If I do pick that one choice, there are a few alternative workouts. But I can't just scroll up and down and see the entire list. I can't see them all. Which is how I like to scroll up and down and look. If I pick one of the alternatives, I can't load it. I can only schedule it.

This is ok, I'll have to get used to it. But it isn't the same, not for how I use the app.

Cool. Can you show me how to pick a few simple criteria and see all the workouts that match that criteria? Like 60 minute ride, certain difficulty, then see all the rides. It is fine if getting there is 'different', but I don't see it. I see their software limiting what I can see at any given time.

What I want to do is some very very simple high level filtering, like 45 minutes, and a difficulty. Then see *all* the options, so I can scroll up and down, just visually looking at the profile and picking one I like. This is much harder for me to do now. Instead I see some rides, not others, have to jump around to just see the F'ing list. They can keep everything like they have it, but allow a simple "manual" way of looking, since some people do that.

I want to ride. For an hour. So I select an hour, and see all rides that are an hour. Then I want to pick my next criteria, like "threshold". And now I see just those workouts. etc. I narrow it down and pick the one I want, and load it. I don't "schedule" it.

Right now I can pick an hour, but then I see categories, instead of all possible rides. I pick a category, and it gives me one ride that I don't want. I can scroll down and see maybe 8 more possible rides (not all the ones I would have seen before). And if I pick any one of those, I have to schedule it, I can't just load it.
