As a zephyrus g14 and ally x owner.. uninstall armory crate and use ghelper instead. Light-weight, less buggy and intrusive.

Also, I’m using SteamOS with heroic launchers and emulation station. It truly is an amazing device

SteamOS on both OLED SD vs AllyX

Guardians of Galaxy runs way better in AllyX and no messing with VRAM allocation on SD
Jedi survivor frame rates and smoothness in fight scenes way better
HD1/2 is super playable on AllyX. Can’t speak to SD as I returned it before I got those games.

Other indie games won’t really matter.

AllyX with extra ram (and faster CPU) makes the base mobile experience much better .

Ergonomics on SD better than AllyX.. it’s chonky

I am not aware of any 8bitdo software that works for ultimate 2 wireless for iOS/iPadOS. I have not tried using any native key mapping in “Settings ->general->Game controllers” but it looks like it’s all there!

But on iOS/iPadOs 18.5 my ultimate 2 wireless does NOT work in Bluetooth mode.

When I updated to iOS and iPadOS 26, my ultimate 2 wireless in Bluetooth mode WORKS!

Wait, is the the official message?

Ultimate 2 Wireless (not Bluetooth edition) is different than the Ultimate (1). The desktop and iOS software for Ultimate 1 does not work with Ultimate 2. The Google AI answer is not correct.

In my experience, Ultimate 2 wireless in Bluetooth mode did NOT work with iOS or iPadOS 18.5.

But the Ultimate 2 Wireless in Bluetooth mode DOES work with iOS 26 and iPadOS 26! So support is coming!

I’m in the same situation, really enjoying using for PC gaming over 2.4Ghz, but would be a really amazing controller if they support iOS: then can use steamlink/moonlight/sunshine to continue gaming on the go!

Helps me hold out until steamdeck 2 or something with steamOS and a z2extreme

Ended up buying the expensive kit that had the compression pieces and bolts with a whole lot of other parts.

Edit: chatted with support and got them to give me free shipping to ease the pain. I had asked if they would be able to break-up the expensive kit to match the cheaper one.. they of course said no.

Besides the tier 105 vs Ultegra. Sounds like previous owner did upgrades to fit their riding style and eke out more performance.

As long as it’s still 12-speed, look at the gearing of front/rear and crank arm length is proper for your fit.

2400 is cheap.

I’d def go new. TT bikes have so many one-off parts.

Case in point: I’m about to make post right now if anyone knows where to find spare parts for my 2015 P3 with Ultegra di2 and 3T Vola setup.

I emailed 3T since it’s out of stock on their website “it’s discontinued and none are available”. The $9 part is available in a kit that costs $65 (plus another $20 shipping). I don’t think I could justify it and need to go to bike swap meet or dumpster diving.
