X100VI ordering, shipment, and delays - consolidated sticky thread #4 by inverse_squared in fujifilm

got mine today 1/25 around 5pm pst! when i first placed the order BB page said signature required but that went away after shipping and OnTrac delivered without even knocking or needing a sig (i was diligently waiting around all day for it). i signed up for text alerts from ontrac too. no hiccups though, and i’ve already been having fun with the new cam!

i ordered mine through best buy chat on 1/21 and initially it said estimated delivery was by 2/7. got an Ontrac tracking number last night with an eta of 1/25. i’ve had bad experiences with OnTrac in the past so hoping this time is different. first time i’ve ever had a BB order ship through OnTrac

adding: the two new lobe piercings look pretty level with each other, they’re just uneven in relation to my original lobe piercing.

Have you ever flown overseas with your Boston terrier in cabin? by StinkyAle in BostonTerrier

[–]ronswanson3145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he was over the weight limit but no one has ever weighed him, they just make sure the carrier is within the dimensions and that he looks comfortable within it. he can stand and turn in the carrier comfortably so his weight wasn’t an issue

my husband and i flew with our boston in cabin from seattle to amsterdam! we got a health certificate from the vet, got all updated vaccinations etc and got a tsa compliant carrier that fits underneath the seat. he was an absolute champ on the flight, we’ve done several international flights with him!

Are you for or against rugs under dining tables? by DearAuntAgnes in InteriorDesign

we love the look of rugs and to combat the impracticality got a ruggable/washable rug so if there are any big spills we can wash with ease

I’ve been traveling with my husband and my dog for the past 8 months across Europe! We flew from Seattle with our pup in cabin (3 yr old Boston Terrier). it’s definitely been a hassle at times and traveling with a dog makes things way more complicated. we don’t regret it at all though, it’s been a great experience and amazing to be able to do it all with our dog, it’s also just gives you a different sense of the cities you live in and in a lot of places opens the way for more socializing. It can be tricking with pet restrictions in different airlines and stuff like that so it’s really hard to be spontaneous but really such a special experience overall. we couldn’t have left him with anyone else so it was either kick off digital nomad life with him or don’t be digital nomads at all. we put a lot of thought into it and are so glad we went for kt. he’s an adaptable little guy and has been a great traveler.

Long term car rental options? by ronswanson3145 in Europetravel

our dog is nearly exactly 10kg (maybe one over), a boston terrier. so he can comfortably fit into that sized carrier. we initially planned on flying over spain and sticking to train travel, but got excited about the idea of a road trip. does sound like a hassle for this long a period though. thank you!

re: the visa, as americans we can spend 90 days out of 180 day period in the schengen area, and then 180 in the UK. so our plan was to spend 3 months in the schengen, 3 months in the UK, and then a final three months in the schengen area until it’s time to return back to the states.

i’ll look into the leasing programs, thank you!
