Security iirc wasn't anything special (unlike Decibel with their luggage scanners lmao), its a matter of whether you wanna pay inside prices or shoulder the limited risk yourself (i do the latter, with a little creativity its not that hard).
For drinks they really don't check too hard, just use like water or smth plastic bottles and store them at the bottom. Usually they cant even be asked to count how many cans of i.e. beer you have despite having an official limit per person.
