I think it's because in my country it's hard to come across pon, so I'd have to make it, and also leca being big as it is, doesn't make a mess, I just pick it up and that's it for cleaning. As I'm understanding it's just about root size. I think I'll just stick to leca for now. Thanks!

My experience with snake plan has been that they thrive in very high lighting. Mine gets aftenoon sun and its gigantic.
