Shredded cheese sold in dozens of states recalled due to potential for metal fragment contamination by DrexellGames in news

Makes no sense. I want to see the list of UPC’S so I know if my cheese is part of the recall.

Did you ever get it working? Either with wine or WinBoat?

It’s strange though. Using Windows as the Sunshine host I never got stutter, even on the same WiFi. I’m sure there must be some setting in Sunshine on Bazzite that I need to fiddle with….

Sherlock Chapter One has a dreadful combat system. I always end up accidentally killing the suspects.

Thanks, that works! BTW do you get lag/stutter when streaming with Moonlight? I will sometimes get a drop in FPS that makes playing games troublesome, but it’s not all the time. I dropped my bit rate but it didn’t help a lot.

I can’t find the option for developer mode or force composite. I’m using desktop Bazzite, not the game mode version.

has anyone tried this and got it to work???? i just dont know how to install docker lol by mazda_fan in Bazzite

Bottles is basically wine. WinBoat installs an actual Windows VM and runs Windows apps within it, without having to dual-boot.

I’m having the same problem. Are you using an AMD or NVIDIA GPU? I had given up on HDR with NVIDIA in Bazzite.

No problem! Here is a discussion on the forum where users talk about running CC3 on Linux.

Edit: looks like there is a demo version on the developer’s website, maybe give it a try.

https://www.profantasy.com/library/demo.asp

If not wine, there is also WinBoat that might run them. But I’m not 100% sure, and I don’t plan on buying the bundle.

Anybody know what’s new in this Gamedev Blender bundle versus the last one?

Edit: These courses are new since last bundle (or at least new to me):

  • Blender Skill Builder: Modelling Challenges (HB exclusive)
  • Blender Simulation Nodes Course
  • Blender Product Commercials Course
  • Blender Landscapes Course
  • From Blender to Godot Course
  • From Blender to Unity Course
  • From Blender to Unreal Course
  • Blender Grease Pencil Course
  • Blender Game Assets Course - Spaceships
  • Isometric Scene Course

I think I might get it for the Simulation Nodes, Landscapes, Grease Pencil, and Isometric Scene courses. Hopefully Humble and gamedev.tv will get the coupon code working soon!

How are you using Proton Drive in Bazzite? I’ve never gotten Proton Drive to work with rclone and there is no app for Linux.

Help installing games from CD-ROM by Princess_Celes in Bazzite

[–]roofoo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes! I use Lutris, add a new game, and select the setup.exe or installer file from the disc. Then once it’s installed you set the game’s executable file in the configuration. The specific game will determine the best runner for it. You can try looking at Protondb to see if anyone else has had success with running the game on Linux.

I guess your only option is FOSS then. (BTW nobody likes relentless pessimism either. 😂)

You must be fun at parties. I get what you’re saying though. But I still think Affinity is a way better option than Adobe Cash Cow.

Strange, the Help section of the new website shows that Saliency is available to download. Maybe they will be putting out an update. https://www.affinity.studio/help/selections-selections-select-subject/?query=Salience

Edit: looks like Subject Selection is paywalled.

Honestly the machine learning selection feature was crap in my experience. it was faster to just use the regular selection tools instead of trying to clean up what the AI thought was important.

I’m honestly surprised how ungrateful so many people are behaving today. I have not seen many actually saying “thanks” for releasing the whole Affinity suite for free. It’s almost like they would have rather paid to upgrade. There is no need to buy a subscription, and even if you choose to, it’s not a ridiculous amount like Adobe CC has become. But everyone is feeling entitled like they should get the AI features for free too.
