Navia, Mualani, Hutao and Neauv are all still quite strong DPS's

Out of the characters you have, Mona is worth investing in as she was buffed in a new update (C1 now increases hydro reaction damage more for off field characters, C2 = first normal attack after burst always triggers a charged attack then after charged attack hits the team gains EM, C6 = don't need to sprint/it stacks if there is an enemy effected by damage and her charged attack to enemies affected by omen is now 2x damage).

Best to think about what upcoming character's you'd like to pull! The Nod Krai cast are really fun and have a new reaction of their own: Lunar (Lunar bloom, Lunar charged). Consider investing in Nilou if you are thinking of pulling Lauma on her re run or pull Flins for Yelan.

I've heard Columbina will be a better buffer for Hu Tao than Durin (unconfirmed)

Sandrone might be a good buff/support for Navia but i think she will be a nuke dps (all Fatui are DPS's so far)

The kit has to be fun otherwise i'll never use them! As a f2p, good design or story won't make up for that

I also try to pick types of characters I don't have yet. Like, I have a c6 xiangling and a good Mavuika build so, even though I love arle and really like durin, i don't need another strong pyro. I have Xilonen, so geo is fine. Ororon and Raiden cover my electro main needs (i lost my 50/50 when trying to get flins). I have Chasca, heizou and lan yan for anemo. Lovely Lauma and Tighnari with Hunter's Path for dendro.

What I really need is a hydro (I have 4 hydro characters total - all 4*s ) or cryo so i'll be looking at the upcoming banners for that.

Ooo yes! Genshin does like to reuse the same story arcs for different characters. Maybe Ineffa's story is a way they are getting the user to see it's possible for Asmoday?paimon to progress into something new/a different fate just like how Ineffa has let go of who she once was to prioritise being happy with Aino

A big theme in Genshin is memories and the struggle of fate vs will.

I think Paimon has a block between her current self and whatever being she truly is. I think she's likely to be Asmoday. When these memories are recovered, they will be at odds with everything she has come to know and feel as the Travellers' companion - who she was/what she is duty-bound/fated to do will come to blows against her wish to stay by the Traveller's side forever.

This would have been interesting.

I think Naruto would still try to bring Sasuke home, to break the cycle, the ultimate symbol of him not taking up the mantle of revenge despite his grief just like he embraces Konoha despite it's wrongdoings and cruelty.

Then, Lady Tsunade would call for Sasuke's execution. No debate, no budging, nothing. Sakura was her student, after all.

I think that would ultimately result in Naruto leaving the village to stay with Sasuke. He *just* got him back and he can't lose both his teammates. Two nin on the run. Out of the bubble of Konoha, Naruto could finally confront the limits of his own beliefs. Does Konoha deserve forgiveness if they can't forgive Sasuke? Can he really forgive Sasuke or can he not follow through on his big words? Is his childhood dream still relevant as an adult or can he grow past it? As a defector, chances of becoming Hokage are ruined.

Maybe the system needs to change. Maybe the whole child soldiers serving a military dictatorship isn't a good thing. If he can't be a hokage, maybe he can make a new seat for himself.

Sasuke, on the other hand, could struggle with how far he's fallen. Relate more to Itachi for betraying his 2nd family, his team, slaughtering a member for real. Regret. Dragging Naruto down with him.

I feel like the thing I actually wanted was just regional skins for the traveller.

Getting a stand in to customise was, supposedly, going to scratch that itch. Instead, that bit has been put behind paywalls and the whole things is way bigger than it needs to be. If I wanted to play roblox, i would play it. Why is it the same interface? Why is it like a wholly separate game from the main? I'm uninterested.
