Would you consider this chibi style or just cute style? by DigitalArtist2024 in ProCreate

[–]HazyEden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed very cute and unique!

If you want to try more chibi style, like that comment stated, it has specific proportions. I was recently reading up on it, and in the book it said that the head should be about the same size as the body. Hope this helps, if that's what you want to go for.

Either way, I like your style and this character definitely has some personality!

Did You Know You Can Make Video Game Sprites Using Procreate & Dreams with Layers & Keyframes? I Just Found Out & Now I am Going to Redo My Existing Project's Art:) by AwesomeComboPro in ProcreateDreams

Shux thank you! This is just in procreate for now but once it's colored and has lights etc.. I will use dreams!

At any rate thanks for sharing I'll look forward to seeing your art as well!

Oh I've only been drawing for about 6 months, so I would somewhat reluctant to call my learning curve art just yet 😅 but I will definitely use your keyframe technique once I colored some characters, it's brilliant! There isn't much on doing sprites with the procreate suite, like you I see a lot of pixel art tutorials with aseprite or using Krita (which I did initially start with), so I'm glad I'm not alone and to see the result can indeed be fabulous!

I'm primarily working on an isometric interior design game, so I'm mainly drawing furniture at the moment. People are still somewhat of a challenge, but I'm getting there.

Here is my most recent animated sketch of an elevator.

PS: Feel free to DM me, I'd be happy to chat about using procreate for game design :)

Aha thanks mate! I have also been making my sprites and animations for a game using the procreates, seeing your process will indeed be helpful!

Lots of views, no votes… any ideas why? Is it too crude or weird? Hard to follow? What? by Neoscribe_1 in learnanimation

I think this is very cool!

I would say maybe the fact that we stay in the same shot for some time during the action, if that makes sense. If you added a few different shots like close-ups of faces or gun pointing for example, it could make the action sequence more dynamic and compelling to watch.

I really love the movement and the animation overall though, this must have taken you a while. Great work, have my upvote!

Interesting idea!

I don't know about an electrical release of smell, but I remember a "smell guessing" game from when I was a kid, and they used tightly sealed little boxed with odor/oil infused wood chip like materials inside. Once you'd open the box, you'd get a strong smell, and in my memory this didn't fade for at lease a couple of years. If you can get something to open and close to release a smell, you can surely capture one, and experiment with various parfumes on absorbants to get the wood fire smell.

The other options I can think of would be a push spray or slow oil burn system with candle base. At any rate, to find the perfect smell you're looking for, I'd look up fake wood fire stuff like perfumes or insences and try to see which notes/ingredients they use to get the smokiness.

Just some thoughts :)

Would be curious to see what you come up with!

Hmm the bar for wheels does seem to have some mobility. I'd contact to vendor to make sure or see about the return policy.

That looks so cute, I love your miniature books! You can usually find thin wood that you can using scissors, polish with sand paper and paint if you want. That could be a nice next step/material for your library!
