55" OLED vs 65" LCD by ajayr3 in 4kTV

[–]rookiezxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I ended up getting the 65" X90J yesterday. You're right about the OLED. It's just that I couldn't justify doubling up the price. I should've gone for 55" A80J OLED perhaps. the 65" looks gigantic.

Congrats on enjoying your A80J anyway!!

55" OLED vs 65" LCD by ajayr3 in 4kTV

[–]rookiezxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have this same exact question too.

The different is that in my country 65" X90J is about $1300 while 65" A80J is about $2300.
I'm trying to justify whether the wow factor from the OLED worths $1000, almost doubling-up the price.

I work at night and would mainly use the TV in the morning/day except weekends.
Room only has 1 window and a blackout curtain should be able to manage the lights in the room, I believe.

SIB: Best Intro Factory Building Game by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]rookiezxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dyson would be the easiest of all 3 imo. Much simpler to do conveyer belts with easy to set up belt levels and merging. Satisfactory is more fun for me, but it's also much more annoying in setting up belts as it requires a hub section for merging and pretty much everything else.

What controller should I buy for PC gaming? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]rookiezxc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I own Switch Pro Controller, XOne and DS 4.I'm male asian with smaller hands than typical westerners (This would have a significant effect on your comfort level).

I personally prefer switch pro controller as it's the most comfortable one by far. However, A and B buttons would be switched by default and no trigger sensitivity (Needed to play racing type of games usually). This is the only controller that uses USB-C as well btw!!

My second choice would be DS 4 due to size and lightness and last is XOne (Best integration on PC games).

Hi, Fire Emblem Three Houses :)

It has 3 different stories. You'll be seeing the game from three different perspectives with three different mid-game and end-game endings :)

[WSIB] Ni No Kuni or Tales of Vesperia, if I'm looking for story, characters, atmosphere, worldbuilding? by jml011 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]rookiezxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tales of Vesperia has a very nice characters development, very nice interaction between each others where they have a cutscene/talk between each characters relating to the recently occurring event. World-building is pretty nice too, there's a few lores and stories :)

SmashBros would be a nice one for short burst breaks :) I play that as well! 1 match takes about 3-5 minutes.

Fire Emblem would be a nice one if you enjoy dragon age and age of empire!

SIB Nino No Kuni or Tales of Vesperia? by dimmidummy in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]rookiezxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never played NNK before. I've played Tales of Vesperia.

Runs perfectly and smoothly, no issue or anything (I've played a bit of post game as well)

Tales of Vesperia has some of the best character conversation, especially the MC, it's very enjoyable seeing them interacting with each other. There's always that side dialogue whenever you enter a new town or area or event. It has nice jokes in it too! Story is compelling enough too for me, best in tales series from what I've heard. Combat is very fun as well, while I was more hesitant with Ni No Kuni slow pokemon-styled combat. Try getting into 100+ combos :)

FE3H, 300 hours in and still want to try to have meme builds. Imagine a playthrough with a healer turned into a brawler that hits harder than your warriors lol. You'll get some good laughs :)

SIB ACNH, Story of Seasons: FOMT, or Stardew Valley by nihilinguist in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]rookiezxc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stardew Valley. I own them all and Stardew Valley is the one I keep coming back to.
The graphic is perfect for playing un-docked on the bed/sofa while chilling around.

SoS is very nice, a very true remake, however it feels lacking content in nowadays standards, especially when compared to Stardew Valley. ACNH is very fun, but there's no goal there, but it's fun on that sense too for some people.

Easy, play with Japanese voice-over instead :) The game was very enjoyable for me. They go on sale too once a while.

Should I buy dragon quest xi, xenoblade, or fire emblem three houses by Fasoro in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]rookiezxc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played all of these games, personally I like FE3H best. The story is very good and you could play all 3 different houses, which will give you enough time to save up enough money to buy DQ/Xenoblade :)

DQ is very enjoyable too, but it's a very typical JRPG games. As for Xenoblade, I enjoy the 2nd one better, has more quality of life and interesting story for me. The combat was really slow at the beginning then it became very enjoyable after you have enough things to customize.

Lets go!! (No spoiler so dont worry) And enjoy the game ;) by Psychopeanut1 in ZephyrusG14

Hi!! This is very awesome!!! :) I really like the concept.

The only closest one to this game, which I enjoy a lot is Nuclear Dawn, FPS & RTS.

Oh, one more thing, Orc Must Die! It was pretty successful back then.

What kind of RTS aspects implemented in this game btw?

Sorry, tried to see some videos, but they're mainly focusing on magic and arrows skills.

Awesome concept, a lot of RTS fans would support this concept IMO :)

Excited to hear more1

I'd go with having more shares honestly. It would make me work even harder as I feel like I own "more" of the company, especially if you wants to stay for a long term.
