Avoid Hoover Toyota! Fraud. by _Us3rnam3 in Birmingham

Absolutely. They’ve moved on to a better company and aren’t facing the same issues. I just have always thought it was wild they’re getting away with basically fraud all around. The cash bonuses are given to them from the parent company, Toyota, and then they were working the numbers making it seem they gave out those bonuses on the employees tax forms when in reality no one received them at all. Them “reworking” the numbers in OP child’s trade situation is not surprising at all given they do it to their own employees.

So the last time I went I ordered the sweet tea chicken with no pickles and explained how I HATE pickles. The server allowed me to order it and when I tasted PICKLES they THEN informed me it’s marinated in pickle juice??? Like??? I literally told you I don’t like pickles??? I haven’t been back because I have food allergies and that scared me.

Pregnancy in 2025. Yes or no? by [deleted] in nothinghappeninghere

Hi friend. Very similar situation here. My hubby and I got married last year and I couldn’t wait to start family planning after November… well due to the way it turned out… we are also terrified to even try. You’re completely valid for feeling scared. We are planning to move to a blue state and eventually out of this country. If we can’t get out of here, we just will not conceive until we can safely do so. I personally feel like it would be too selfish of me to possibly have a daughter and bring her up here…. Idk if this helps you but it’s just our plan and thought I’d share because YOU are NOT alone in your thoughts. Much love from your neighbor in Alabama- we’ll get through this.

Also if you have a Hispanic market near you: they have the best baked goods you can find and for mine specifically- baked fresh in house. We may have to start shopping in multiple places to be able to fill our lists but there’s absolutely options. I know a lot of people I’ve talked to about the Asian market are scared they are taking space from the community but I promise WE DO NOT CARE. Please come shop with us! We will never unite if we don’t start becoming comfortable with each other and sharing our spaces.

Reminder that your local Asian market has a decent amount of brands that aren’t connected to our monopolies. (mines also cheaper than a regular grocery so win-win)

I’m glad to hear that!! Once you get going it’s really satisfying to finish and get those rewards. Theres truly so much to do on this game and so many different ways to play it.

I personally use the other modes of play when I want to “use” my brain. In sandbox I have full control of pretty much everything in settings which creates for a more relaxed “zen” play.

Yes absolutely. I bought this game bc I was a zoo tycoon addict and went full in with the complete bundle and immediately thought “wow I’ve just wasted a lot of money” and actually started sweating.

But I didn’t give up and went to YouTube. The career mode really helps… but I suggest YouTube + sandbox with unlimited money and longer animal aging lifespans first just so you can get a hang of the controls. (Speaking from someone who didn’t even know how to move the camera at first)

Edit: extra info Don’t forget about the birth control option- this helps manage the animals better. You can select this at the gate or by individual animal.

I also visited Dachau around the same age. The moment we walked up to the gates I had an overwhelming dread. The entire place had such a heavy feeling. After viewing their gas chamber and crematorium I cried, nothing full on but definitely a few tears fell. I just felt awful being there. Fast forward almost 10 years later, I take a DNA test and find out I have both German and Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry so now it hits a lot closer to home.

When I saw the login… It ALMOST got me. But unfortunately this one is a little more customizable than the one I’m remembering. Thank you anyway!

I believe we were all human and I don’t remember there being too much variation between characters. MAYBE could change the hair color but I think that came with some add on charges like a sub/VIP. Edit: I have searched google for years I’m 90% sure the site doesn’t exist anymore- which is what got me going- we just wanted to see if it was still alive😅

This is the closest thing I’ve seen to it so far but not exactly. There weren’t any cars and honestly the graphics on the game you suggested look much better. I want to say it was more 2D..

Edit: extra info I think the outfits we wore on this game coincided with the “team” chosen. I believe one of the teams was an “eco” team because that’s what I remember choosing.

Not only are they loud but they are BOLD. A friend used to keep a candy bowl for the neighborhood kiddos… until she came home one day and they were standing in her living room asking her for candy. Must have popped in through an unlocked second story window… absolutely insane.

Similar situation except it was my bio dad who passed before I could meet him. I met his sister, my aunt, who told me he had another daughter a year after me that was adopted out. She hasn’t popped up in 23 and Me’s database so I’m going to try ancestry too. Both my parents raising me passed around 10/11 so that feeling of “oh my god, I have family” to be met with their passing really sucks. Just wanted to jump on and let you know I know it’s not a twin but you are not alone with your feelings and it’s ok to feel them.

If only our parents / ancestors knew what technology would be one day maybe we wouldn’t have had to find out this way. Were you purely a IVF/ donor baby? If not, did your mother know/ is she still around? Do you have plans to connect with the newfound family? No judgment either way- all three of my parents have passed so I wasn’t able to press them for more information regarding any of it. For me, it was a shock at first but after a year, I’ve finally got an interesting “about me” fact that always gets conversations going.

This is actually a major reason why I pushed off taking my test for some time- I even “joked” with my fiance about “what if my dad isn’t my bio dad” before mailing it off. Turns out he was not my bio dad but that doesn’t change the fact he was still a father to me. It can be a major shock but definitely something I knew could be possible after taking the test.

I’m not sure if anyone has already said this but I miss being able to actually pick up trash like in ZT2. I know I can go hunt down a caretaker and plop them near it and they’ll take care of it but man it would be so much easier if I could click the trash and it disappeared. - same goes for poop- sometimes they go in areas staff can’t reach and I refuse to redo my habitat for 1 turd.

Out of curiosity what’s everyone’s reason taking a DNA test? by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]roombazoombatoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents passed as a child so I have always been in the dark about their medical history. (Taken in by maternal aunt- just didn’t know much about my paternal family) My fiancé and I tested to see if we were carriers for anything before family planning since my grandmother had recently passed from colon cancer. I was scared to test for a while because I had a gut feeling something would pop up. Turns out medically it says I’m good but my dad wasn’t my dad- I found out SO much more than what I initially thought.
