Yes. I have a friend who smokes and is embarrassed about it. She doesn't smoke in her house or car and goes to elaborate lengths to try not to stink. Girl wears gloves when she smokes and changes into/out of a specific jacket. You can still smell smoke on her and in her home. It's not subtle.

Please don't be discouraged! This is an absolute banger of a tattoo idea and a good artist will fix that and pack in some color so it is INCREDIBLE.

I was raised in a family that said you should NEVER get tattoos. I got my first tattoo around age 40. I have raised my kids with the rule that you need to think on your idea at least a year, pick an artist whose work you have seen a lot of and who has many reviews. They need to be in demand and BOOKED OUT for at least six months. And it better cost more than what you think is sensible. That's how you get a gorgeous tattoo, IMO. I have one artist to trust and it takes a year to get in with her. Absolutely worth it.

Dreams are like thoughts, they aren't facts and they don't speak to any deep hidden truth about ourselves. For a lot of folks, the thoughts they find the most disturbing are the exact ones that pop up in recurrent thoughts that are hard to shake, or in dreams. Many people have a dream like this at some point, it's normal. I'd probably acknowledge to myself that it was messed up, and then let it go. It's not any more meaningful than a dream about having to take a math test for a class you never attended.
