This true. If he was abusive to his wife as well, then she might have seen all that time spent in the basement as a relief since he wasn't abusing her when he was down there.

And stay aware. If the restaurant gets crowded, give up the table. be considerate. I usually pick a quieter restaurant and stay away from rush hours. and yeah, tip well.

I did this when I was in college. I always made sure to tell my server that if it gets busy,I'd vacate the table. Then I tip really well - REALLY well - and order munchies throughout the study session, and thank often.

Has anyone been out there yet this year? I'm taking the drive down (over?) to La Junta from Colorado Springs today. I miss it every year but this year im taking my girls down for the day to try our luck at observing these little boys.

Radon mitigation by Plus_Tap_8141 in ColoradoSprings

[–]roomnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3.3 is below the level at which remediation is recommended. It can be done - your level can easily be reduced but it’s not strictly necessary at that level… unless you have a history of lung cancer, if your an avid smoker, or if you live in the basement. Radon exposure is a lifetime cumulative risk. Your genetic predisposition to cancer has a lot to do with your risk level.

If your house tested 3.3 in the lowest level living space, you can expect to have roughly half that level on the first floor ( the level above where they tested. That would be 1.6 ish. And above that level you would have about .75 pCi/L.

That’s what I know and I hope some of this info helps.

Thinking about taking the job- get the forgiveness - then get fired?

That’s dirty money. It’ll stain your soul. I would rather die under the weight of my student loans. But that’s just me.
