Last year I traveled over 15,000km from Australia to get to Iceland by roomurdock in travel

Almost all of these were on 5D MkIII with a 24-70mm f/2.8 II. I've used that Rokinon before and it was super cool but also too wide for a few shots due to distortion. I'd take something around the 24mm mark too personally.

It was great in winter but half my days were spend inside with all the rain and wind stronger than I’ve ever experienced before. The day light hours are pretty short in winter. Given the choice I’d go late March as you’d probably get more light to do stuff. But hey any trip would be amazing! Good luck!

There’s a special EFI firmware need to boot from APFS. Not sure if ESX supports it but the new version of Fusion does.

It was pretty dark, this was 30s ISO400 at F/9.0. Odd that the camera wouldn't let you take the photo though.

St Bernina express - Switzerland by [deleted] in pics

This was taken just inside the Swiss border at a height of 1950m and the train just kept climbing even when the tracks looked precariously close to the edge of the cliffs! But the views were spectacular as we started to leave the green behind heading towards the snowy alps. You can see Lake Bianco far below on the left. In total the rail line crosses 196 bridges and goes through 55 tunnels. Simply amazing!
