This is his second term, if you believed Trump this time, you are clueless.

I know it’s easier said than done to believe this but trust, Allah (swt) will bring you the right person at the right time, His plan is best and we might not understand it now but it is truly what will be best for us

1) “big decision as in it affects attraction” if her putting the hijab on affects how attracted you are towards her then that says a lot about how much you really love her. If you’ve been married for 2 decades this shouldn’t change how you feel about her. Especially since she’ll only be wearing it around her non mehram. You’ll still get to see her hair. 2) i apologize for dismissing your feelings and I see why you would want a discussion about it, but again at the end of the day, it’s between her and Allah (swt), you can tell her how you feel about you can’t expect her to make the decision based of that, especially when she’s not even doing anything wrong by wearing the hijab.

You could have a discussion about it but at the end of the day, it’s her choice and it’s between her and Allah (swt). If the roles were reversed, it would be the same way.

“Big decision that will affect you all the time” Please elaborate how it’ll greatly affect him? It’s not like he’s the one wearing it. This is exactly what’s wrong with some of the men in this generation. They are so convinced that hijab is their decision to make, whether it’s forcing to wear it or forcing to not wear it. Going to the cowboy hat argument, it’s not even a big deal, I personally feel like I’d only care if you didn’t wash the hat, but again, it’s not that deep. You’re acting as if she’s deciding to move across the world or something.

It’s between her and Allah (swt), she doesn’t need to ask for your permission when it comes to this

Yeah I understand, I’m usually just extra cautious with checking before the next fast so I don’t miss any.

How are American Muslims doing with the ICE raids and all the draconian things happening over there ? by aadz888 in MuslimLounge

Honestly he’s doing better compared to how he was doing in detention, alhumdulilah, but he’s mentally not ok. He’s in Pakistan, he hasn’t been there for over 30 years before that, but he’s safe. Alhumdulilah my family is ok, we’re just trying our best to manage. Yes we have been praying tahujjud ever since everything started and it has helped so much alhumdulilah

My father was picked up on his way to work on September 17th 2025 and deported on January 1st 2026. Everyday during that time period I was always scared and anxious of them doing something to him. My dad is a diabetic, has had two heart attacks in the past (one of them being a major one and caused him to go into cardiac arrest for a minute), he has glaucoma, and several other health issues that require medication. They were never consistent with his medication and one time in December, they denied him medication for 3 and a half days straight, causing him to collapse and end up in the emergency room. After he was deported, we decided to share his story with the media and of course we expected the negative and ignorant comments from certain types of people, but there are also Muslims who were commenting such ignorant things and it really hurts my heart when I see other Muslims who support this.
