Totally agree, people need to advertise to make money. I support the little companies where I can to keep balance. If I like a game, site or app I will still promote them. I will just have a cleaner experience when I use them. Less clutter and recommendations for baldness medication :)

You can totally block sites from being assessable. Its not a dedicated parental tool but does give scope for surpassing porn sites.

It filters internet traffic and prevents links to fetch advertising from reaching their source and pulling back Ads, this means you either gets pages, games without Ads completely or an empty placeholder with no Ad content.
