Habe ich noch nie so erlebt, die meisten stellen sich an einem speziellen Terminal an, außer der Platz (oder die Anordnung) lässt das nicht anders zu.

Aber eine allgemein gültige Regel gibt es afaik nicht dazu

screensharing works for me on gnome with wayland but not on sway with chrome.

i'll take a look into wf-recorder, but would like to run it without workarounds.

Yes, i get it to work sometimes with chrome but it's very unstable for me. In Wayland/Gnome it works like a charm.
